  • You have to call up for this deal.
Did it yesterday for my OH. SIM should be in the post and only took about 10mins to set it all up including the check and DD.

...So there is a credit check then?

    Definetly no credit check.

The whole process took me 10 minutes earlier. That involved entering name and address, including clubcard and debit card details for payment.

Very easy and a no hassle experience.

    Where is this deal?

I can't find it anywhere on:
...and where does it say No Credit Check?

It's not online yet. Have to go to a Tesco mobile shop or ring them. There is no credit check, at least not when I paid with my credit card anyway.

If you gave them your name and address, how do you know that didn't trigger a credit check? Do they specifically have to tell you when doing a check?

Can anyone tell me what the network coverage is like with Tesco please. Any problems with getting a signal? Thanks!

It works well where it works well - just like any other network. No better - no worse. I believe it runs on O2 - or it did.

I did this in store - as far as I know it's not available online.

Ok, I appreciate the comment about not knowing whether they do a credit check, but I don't see why they should as you're not entering into a contract. There is no credit check done when you set up a DD anywhere else is there? Tbh I wouldn't pass a credit check anyway, which is why I am (was) on PAYG.

Is there anyway I can check on my internet usage - say per day? So far I have just checked my emails and gone on FB and that's not been every day. Does it go by minutes or sites visited? I know that even browsing is downloading (albeit a tiny amount).
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

Is it possible to port your existing number from another network onto this £10 deal?
