Tesco good deal - what do you think?
I've just signed on for a £10 per month direct debit 1 month rolling contract that I can cancel at any time (no credit check).
For the £10 I get:
500 mins
Unlimited texts
Unlimited internet (fair usage policy applies)
This is through Tesco and is available until 12th October (I think). You can also get Clubcard points when you top up.
I hope it's useful to someone.

YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T

Its a really good deal. Just make sure you dont go over the 500mb limit as it can get very expensive.0

Thanks and a good point....
Is there a rough guide as to what 500mb equates to? I will probably use it to check and send emails but not every day. I might also check FB. Does it go by time on the internet, or what sort of data I am looking at/using?
If it's £10 direct debit then presumably once I've used up that credit then I won't be able to use the phone again until the next DD goes off. I didn't think I could go over my limit??YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

For checking emails and browsing the web etc that's fine, and it seems like a really good deal too.
If you start downloading songs or films you'll quickly use it up though.0 -
The is a contract deal (albeit with a 1 month contract). If you go over 500mins then year get charged the standard per min rate (12p I think). There is no "topping up" as it's not PAYG.0

Its a contract not payg no topping up, once you exceed your inclusive allowances you can still use phone, and will be charged at the appropriate rates. So you could if you not careful run up a bill.;)0 -
Thanks for the advice. From dell's reply I think I should be ok with my internet usage - I never download music or songs via my phone. The only thing I have to keep an eye on is my minutes (500 per month) but I can't imagine I'd use all that tbh.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

I am currently considering signing up for this deal for my daughter, she is just out of her teens and seems to be topping her phone up quite regularly.
It is quite possible she will save a packet, especially when I've offered to pay for the damn thing.
I am on Tesco PAYG,but on the staff tariff, and I may even get it myself.0 -
Check the cost for going over the 500Mb limit.
The tariff you quote isn't on line yet, but the nearest I can find for their charges on line for monthly are here
http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/content.aspx?page=35
They are charging £4 per mb if you go over their data limit, so be very, very careful. By my reckoning, if you use 1gb instead of their 500mb one month, you will get a bill for £2000.
Voice and texts, though, look a bargain.0 -

Where is this deal?
I can't find it anywhere on:

...and where does it say No Credit Check? :think:0
