Anyone fancy a bet on how long before the 'dummy debate' descends into b1tching and name calling?

I only read the first few comments, saw ' I prefer to comfort my child myself when she's upset' and thought I'd best come back out of there!

I read that and had this vivid mental image of one of those holier than thou sanctimonious competitive mummies who's obsessed with the idea that her kid is the Best Kid In The World and her way is therefore the only way to raise babies. People like that make me seethe.

Is everything OK Susan? I thought you weren't having a scan until 20 weeks?
I wasn't planning on having the routine dating scan. I've been bleeding since Friday though so they gave me a scan on Monday morning because they don't do scans at the weekend.

No thanks, this one's troublesome enough. He is insistent that I complain when coming in after being at work because he immediately hands over all baby responsibility and yet when he comes in I do effectively the same thing. I complain because I come home very early so we can co-parent and he does it because he tells me he is busy, which always comes across as "my work is more important than yours". He comes home after 9-10 hours and I do it because I don't want him to miss any of the limited awake time she has left in the evening.

He started a ridiculous argument with me about bin liners earlier on, he bought some a while back but asked me where I'd bought them - I told him he bought them and he tried to pick a fight with me. Then he put on headphones instead of listening to me tell him what Molly and I did today, and wandered off halfway through the videos I'd made of her at Lollihop because they have no sound and are therefore apparently worthless.
