Susan, im glad all is ok.

I've just got out my pregnancy books and found a baby names book. DH is reading it and is now calling the baby 'fabion' because it means 'bean'
  • Evening all. I hope everyone is ok. Busy few days with work and house stuff. Loads to di tonight too, but we will see! Didn't get the job I went for last wek, so I'm a bit miffed and came home to find our water is going to be off on Mneday, so I may as well cancel my day off. I had one booked to do decorating and cleaning, but I will need water for that! I hope everyone else has had a less irritating day!

Oh, and ta for the swagbucks referral. Remind me what I'm meant to do with it?!

Just do several searches a day. I usually win 3 times, once in the morning, once middle of day/early aft and once in the eve. Jusy keep searching till you win and then leave it for a few hours. You can also do the daily poll for one free swagbuck a day. Just let your points build up then redeem for an amazon voucher/paypal. It usually takes me roughly a month to get a £5 amazon voucher but it isn;t very time consuming.

Susan - I would be raging!! So glad everything is ok though.

  • Ta Gill :) I will give it a shot and see how I get on. If we all keep reminding one another then we will do better I'm sure.

  • Hello,

I've caught up with the shiny new thread :)

    Congratulations and hugs to everyone

Hello to all newbies and returnees.

Work issues still ongoing beginning to get very stressed and worn out by it all, but it's looking like I will need Weezls site for real :(

I had a lovely weekend away though, Katie had her first ride on a pony.

It was lovely to see Glam - thank you for the cake it went down a treat :)

It's Katies first day at playgroup tomorrow, when did she get so big.

    Weezl:
    Christmas 2009
Breakfast: Bacon butties, Orange Juice and a cup of tea (bacon butties have to include tomato ketchup)
    Lunch: Pate & Toast
    Christmas Meal:
    Starters: Pate & Toast
Main: Turkey, Roast potatoes (done in goose fat), Nigella Gingerbread stuffing, Peas, Carrots, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy, Sausage & Bacon, Sausagemeat Balls.
    Pudding - Profiteroles

This year breakfast will probably be different as DH is on early shift. We eat the Christmas Meal later as we go to Church in the morning and I don't like leaving my oven on unattended.

I ordered a fresh turkey from Morrisons for £17, the rest I just add to my weekly shopping. I don't buy many sweet/treats as no one visits to eat them, we do all the visiting.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    FAO Job Search Committee:

If you genuinely were impressed by my CV, and it has indeed been a pleasure to review my application, and you sincerely regret that you won't be pushing forward my application at this time, may I suggest the simple courtesy of addressing your email as Dear Dr SS rather than Dear Applicant?

  • Quick question. My DD is 5 next month and now started school, but she's still struggling to cut up quite a bit of her food. I keep showing her, but I feel like we're not getting anywhere - surely she should be able to do this by now, or am I being unreasonable? Those of you with similar age children, how do you get on?

sorry i know you've had answers by now but just thought i'd let you know ds still isnt great with a knife and fork, he manages it eventually just takes ages, but he normally uses his fingers anyhow!

Mine is good at sharing the work of Alice. But he spent all weekend complaining of how ill he was and never once asked how I was and then didn't ask about the scan until half an hour after he got home from work. We will have words about it but I'm waiting until I'm less angry about it and he is less tired because otherwise the discussion won't be productive.

:grouphug:have a dodgy hug, i'd be angry too in your position, i find it so hard not to rage when i'm angry though, but sometimes the silent treatment hits them harder;)

In good news my boy ate most of his dinner at school! well they had meatballs and rice and he ate the meatballs, they were in a sauce too which normally he wouldnt eat for me, Thanks everyone for the pic comments too:)
