Finn's 8.5 months now but for the past couple of months, the toys he's liked the best are:

- Leapfrog pop-up surprise ball
- wooden spoons
- books that have pop-up elements (supervised play only as he will rip them to piece if left with one!)

Our favorite game is peek-a-boo and he also loves cardboard, paper, and STRING. LOVES STRING.

Simple pleasures.

Apparently everything looks fine and they can't see any reason for the bleeding. They claimed I was six weeks (instead of 7+2) based on measurements which is completely wrong as I know when I ovulated. I don't know why they even bother trying to measure that early as clearly they can't do it accurately enough. (They said I was 5+6 instead of 6+4 with Alice.)

Afternoon all..

We've been to see my pregnant-with-twins friend this afternoon.. She's not a happy bunny, bless her She's 31+5 and the babies are 2kg and 1.8kg - bigger than Rhys at birth and there two of them in there! Can see why she's grumpy

Susan, I noticed your sig was whited out for a while. Didn't like to be nebby though.. Glad everything is okay now

Kindof, I found our local PALS from that Tia gave me and emailed them. They've replied with names and phone numbers of the people in their office who deal with medical records. I'll phone them tomorrow and let you know what they say

Re HR stuff.. Not sure I ever was a guru, and don't work in HR anymore, but promise I'll go back later and read it again and see if I have anything useful to add

Just waiting for OH to get home from the gym, then it's feeding time at the zoo... :cool:

We will have words about it but I'm waiting until I'm less angry about it and he is less tired because otherwise the discussion won't be productive.

Sort of.....depends if he's tired or not, which I can understand he's got a big old fat head so it must take a lot of energy to lift that bad boy about :rotfl:

Anyway I shall pretend I still am and tell you that we did very little tummy time with T as he hated it. Instead I'd sort of lie him on my chest while I was sitting up but leaning back slightly and he liked that. Even justn holding him upright will help. It didn't affect him as he rolled over bang on schedule (or even slightly early according to some books) at 16 weeks and just seems to get stronger every day. He can hold his head up for ages on his front now if there's something to entertain him.

E is pretty much exactly 3 months on from L, so it works out well tracking progress in my head.... Although T will be my 2 month on baby benchmark....

He seems to be ok with tummy time against one of us so I think from your advice I'll carry on with him that way....

He only seems entertained by faces for a length of time, noise makers are ok for 5 minutes but then he's bored or hungry....

Totally off topic - but I've lost an address and im well annoyed with myself, i always thought i'd saved the message, and now im gnna have to ask them again....*face palm*

I would be very angry too. Quite often I try to discuss things when I am still mad, and then everyone gets angry and it's a mess. I do admire your sensible-ness and restraint.
