I love the pics MFD. I was shocked a couple of days ago looking at last Christmas' photos, I didn't realise V was so bald. :rotfl:

They were bald and gummy :rotfl::rotfl:

Benjamin was crawling around and pulling himself up to standing but I don't really remember what he was like before he was running around like a nutter :o

Benjamin has seen some of his toys already...he refuses to let a carrier bag enter the house without having a rummage and boxes are to be immediately opened and emptied for playing in :D

Mind you, last year I used to show him things in a shop and if he cried when I took them off him I knew he liked them enough for me to buy him for Christmas :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm going to try the fleece next time I go to Ikea, Operation: BumGenius is proceeding fairly well but I think the paper liners are causing a bit of redness.

Also, before I go to bed I want to leave a question; does anyone know anything about post-surgical adhesions?

    Hi Searchie.

Red You're a star. :EasterBunThank you.

You are most welcome - I take it arrived ok then? I was a little worried as I wrote the envelope in the post office with baby in one arm and had Amelie trying 'to help' :). It was a little wobbly and I hoped the postie would be able to read it.

I posted a work letter the other day with a helpful little red and yellow addition to the envelope courtesy of my delightful son :D

    Evening all,

Can only really remember KK's post, I have to say I had something similar but probably not as extreme as my DH asking what I made for tea, etc. One thing that fixed the "im doing everything" routine is that I went out for about 3 hours in the early evening and left him to it alone. We recently had an argument about it actually after I went ape at him for leaving the pram at MILs (have I mentioned this before? :rotfl:and me being stuck in. He actually admitted that he was really angry with me as he was scared of not knowing how to look after A. And I love that she decided to have a poonami that night, be sick and drink two bottles in a row! It was a harsh blow but if I didnt do it, he wouldnt have a clue about what I had to go through- I had to learn like he did (although I did lots of reading which he didnt as hes rubbish in that way, the day before I had A, he had finally printed off the wikipedia page on what the different stages of labour after he mentioned that I dont need to worry about the contractions I was having as my waters were gushing! I could have killed him!).

When he gets back, you need to him experience what you have to do. Even if you just go shopping for a few hours, leave some instructions and let him learn for himself. Then he will understand a little more hopefully?

Thanks for the reminder about voting CAFC and especially 3onitsway- I can see your post for A everyday. (Sorry if others have, but 3 sticks out in my mind.) She's number 1- woo!

Im tired peeps and it's taken me ages to write this! So chat to you all tomorrow hopefully! Na-night.

Fluffy bum mums, what sort of liners (if any) do you use? I've been using the bambino mio paper ones, but don't know if they're that nice, as they seem to stick to madam. Do you reckon fleece would be a comfier option? If so, is it just a case of getting a cheapie fleece blanket and chopping it up?
I just couldn't get on with paper liners, I didn't know if I was supposed to fold them or scrunch them... With Aimee I used the Ikea fleece, with Caitlyn I had fluffy fleecey liners that came with the little lambs and I use them with the tots bots... Itty Bittys come with a cottony layer so you don't need liners...

Incidentally, whilst in Asda today, they had packs of Bambino Mio for £10... They only had one pack of newborn and there was only 1 wrap instead of 3... So they knocked them down to £7 for me :) I picked up a medium pack too, seemed criminal not to at that price...

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, I've had a lovely day with my husband and small monkey, and then when Aimee came out off school we went to Frankie and Bennys for tea, it was very nice :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

kitkat - hugs hun, your OH is being very selfish. Im always reminding OH I dont get to finish work and just sit on my butt, when T sleeps I have to run about and get stuff done. I think its slowly sinking in now at 7 months.

MM - FB is a real cos atm, its taken me ages to get it to upload pics.

Well went to weigh in and T is now a very healthy 16lb 12oz :) Had a chat about returning to work and not being able to express enough for a feed. Have decided with HV help am gonna change her afternoon feed to formula so less stress for me. Anyone want to suggest a good brand of formula I dont know where to start! Was intrigued by male HV there, he was so darn lovely way more helpful and informative and great with the babies than any female HV Ive seen/met.

Beccles - did the physio give you any tips for remembering to squeeze. I'm rubbish at remembering, and it is not doing me any favours.

She said find places where you are doing other things and can concentrate on doing them.

I can do them driving if the road is quiet and boring like on motorways or while waiting in traffic queues. I wouldn't do them driving through a city centre or something though.

Waiting in queues like at the bank, supermarket etc.

While you're doing jobs where you stand like washing dishes or ironing, or while I'm waiting for Charlotte to wash herself in the shower.

While you're watching TV, or when I'm reading in bed before we go to sleep.

My Mam has had those. She had a hysterectomy when I was little, then had an ovary out at a later date. She's got one ovary left inside but bits keep sticking to bits they shouldn't be stuck to and she had subsequent operations to unstick them. I think she used to get a lot of pain when they were stuck together.

Don't know if that is any help or not. It was all during my childhood and I don't think she really likes talking about it.
Here I go again on my own....
