Toaster - mine is on 6. I like really thick slices of bread, so it's soft and fluffy in the middle but almost burned on the edges, and then plenty of melted butter. That's my breakfast nearly every day :o
Im totally stuck as to what to get Keira for her "big" gift at Xmas.

Have you got an ELC or similar catalogue? Give her the catalogue, some scissors and a pritt stick and get her to make a picture of all the toys she likes. That might give you some ideas ;)

*hugs* kitkat - hope you get things worked out with OH xx

Been to the hospital this afternoon to see they physio about my pelvic floor. I've been doing the squeezing exercises and she said everything has tightened up and popped back into place. Been told to keep doing the exercises and hopefully everything should be ok from now on.

I wonder how many ladies are squeezing now :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

FWIW I think your 'excuse' for not attending shows how good a mother you are - making sure you and your DH spent QUALITY time with your LO. That is the important thing here.
    I agree.
Still nothing from work so rang the Dr for another weeks note.

I'm feeling much better, I just want it all over and done with now so I can move on.

I'm sure everyone else will have suggestions, but even now I find that making sure DH knows exactly what we've been up to all day it helps. Partly because a lot of the household stuff that I DO do is things he wouldn't notice (he isn't the kind of person to notice that the inside of the fridge is no longer sticky, or whatever!) and also that if I have spent most of the day cuddling a poorly baby and haven't had time to even get myself lunch he knows that too. He never noticed how time-consuming Izzy is until I started pointing it out to him. I also point out if I am having a nap when she does that I am doing it BECAUSE we were up for xxxx amount of time in the night. It might sound patronising (might sound it to him too!), but if you don't tell him he won't know ;)

Oh, and I find choices work too - do you want to cook tea while I'm giving Izzy her bath or do you want to do bathtime while I cook. (That WHILE is quite important too - he doesn't always grasp the importance of the fact that saying he will do something means he has to do it today ;) )
I do both of those things too.

Forgot to say, Lilys hair is so long now we have to brush it to the side otherwise it gets in her eyes!

I refuse to cut it though :p
I deliberately started brushing Alice's hair sideways as soon as it was long enough to do so. She's still never had it cut.
