Morning all!
Thanks Becles, I Googled myself into a bit of a state last night, TMI: I'm getting really weird one-sided pains when I ovulate and on the second day of my period and wondered if there could be some sort of adhesion but then I started reading about secondary infertility and upset myself. I'm going to make a doctor's appointment anyway.
We had a bad night here, Husband woke up to hear Molly choking, turned out it was on her own phlegm _pale_ She's fine this morning, bit pale but no trace of illness *rolleyes* while both parents are zombies!
Aless, sorry you had a bad night too. I just sent you an email; today's Keynoir deal looked like a good gift for my husband which made me think of yours. Except it expires 24/12, which means it would need to be an early Christmas gift or is useless
Sir M don't worry about it, I think whatever keeps them happily asleep is ok and as long as they're not permanently in the carseat I'm sure it's fine. :rotfl: at "his" room, but a registered cleaning person won't be able to steal because it isn't worth it anyway.
Hope BM and Izzy are doing better.
Wish I could help with formula Somnium but don't know the first thing about it.
Hugs if I've missed anyone.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

See I always changed Alice whenever she wet her nappy so didn't need that.
Really! Wow, you are much more dedicated than me!
My DD wets approx every 20 minutes, sometimes more (I only know as she is nappy free a lot at home) I would be drowning in nappies though! I change DD every 2 hours but occasionally stretch to 3 if out and about. If she is sore or red then it goes down to every hour and nappy off in the house though.
I use fleece as I always think the paper ones would feel horrible next to skin. I think of that vile 'tracing paper' loo roll you used to get. I just use cut up ikea blankets they cost about £1.50 and I've bought one per child. Just remember to wash the blanket before cutting them though to allow for shrinkage (made that mistake first time round!Doh!)0 -

No, he wouldn't be covered by their insurance. If his health improves it's definitely on my list for future events.

I did elimination communication though so it didn't create that many nappies. We used an average of 5.4 per day in the first five months and after that on average it was four or five although the actual number on any given day could vary between zero and twelve. For quite a long time she typically did eighteen wees per day and although soemtimes she could do them every twenty minutes for an hour, she would often have much longer dry spells and could be dry after naps and overnight.fernliebee wrote: »Really! Thanks SS, he is very paranoid on netmums are some that do the laundry/ironing as well which is one of my big bugbears at the mo as DH says it will help with the mountains of laundry but never does and it just never seems to stop!! He made the annoying comment this morning before he left that it looked like we'd been burgled - cheek!
Also re the car seat we couldn't believe it got back home at 1:30, brought him up into our room at heard him stirring at 5 and my DH was like where is he and I said still asleep in the car seat, we were both expecting a feed before then!! Well he is def stirring, prob time for next feed!!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Oh wow. I would have loved to full time EC with my girls but had to do the half way of doing it at home but not when out and about. With DD1 she never had a nappy at home just when out and about, but I'm finding I don't have time with DD2 to have her out of her nappy all the time at home but she still has a lot of nappy free time.
DD1 used the potty (with my help
) from 4 months, just to save the floor, but came out of nappies at 19 months, so think it helped speed up potty training. We have laminate floor though, so she basically 'trained' herself, as when she wee'd she realised pretty quick that it would make it really slippery and she would fall, so she would wander over to the back door mat and go on there, so we just put the potty there

Izzy has perked up loads now after a nap in the car while we took DH to work.
Sir M, don't beat yourself up over it, sometimes you just have to do what it takes to get some sleep.
KK (and anyone else really) - have been thinking a bit more about the share of housework/childcare round here. Our situation at the mo is that I'm working part time (3 days), and poor old DH is working full time at his daytime job, and also p/t at an off licence. Obviously this means I'm happy to do more than half the housework/childcare because I am here more, but he still has to do his "fair share" I would count his fair share as doing approx half of what needs doing while he is at home. I don't know if that would be a helpful way to explain it to him. That him doing a fair share now is definitely a lot less than the 50% you were expecting when he wasn't working, but it is still definitely not 0% either!
Doing all that work there are days when he is so nackered that I don't ask him to do any housework, but then he will still be having a cuddle on the sofa with Izzy, so at least I can get on with other things iyswim. I try and get him to do a bit extra when I can get away with it too - ie last night he came home in a helpful mood, so I did a few "while you are up and doing stuff can you grab X so we can do Y", so we got a few extra bits done on top of the standard washing up/cooking/hanging the washing out evening tasks. Then when he is in a proper grump I can let things slide a bit
Not that any of that makes me any less annoyed with DH when he is being a KH mind you

I actually found she did better when we were out than when we were at home. Except for one person's house where you could pretty much guarantee she would poo in the nappy and not let me know.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5
