Oh dear, you can tell I'm bored - another random fact. According to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, approximately 400 people are admitted to A & E due to biscuit related injuries.
I got admitted to A&E for collapsing at home, turns out I had the lowest blood count the doctors had ever seen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've survived the biscuit minefield so far though

Thanks Som, im thinking that A will be too big for the basinette now?
EA, if you do need grips, wilko's had them in their sale section at ours.
Another mini milestone, A can now shake her rattle and it's v.cute. I know it's nothing on the teeth/walking but she's only little!
She keeps whacking herself in the head but doesnt seem to notice. lol First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -
For every toddling toothy monster there is a mummy who shed a tear for the little things Michelle - every step is important because it takes them one step closer to being walking talking non-babies...
...:(
please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Becles, it's good that you are nervous, means you take it seriusly. You will do fine. Just remember to take a break and let it all sink in.
Som, http://stores.ebay.co.uk/athenaweddings I got the rolls from there. Only thing is that I don't know if it will be washable? Works out more expensive, but if you noticed the black and pink one had frayed whereas the rolls don't. Possibly they are cheaper elsewhere but I didn't look other than eBay.
MFD, you do get used to it. Our darling children are mean little traitors! But like SS said, it is good in a way. But yes, you will feel like crap and I'd like to say it gets better but you just learn to get on with it
Susan, thinking of you xxx
EA, get a cheap large rug and don't wash under it. Seriusly the only way to stop them slipping! lol If you lived closed I'd give you mine. I'm done with it now.
Michelle, I don't know what baby is your Ayana. Is it Ayana Elizabeth?0 -

Are you trying to make dust get in my eye?!
Very heartwarming yet frightening in the same sentence.
Tia, my pics arent up yet but I will make sure I post when they do... The other girl is Anya Elizabeth, not Ayana.
Dont worry though because DH sent me a text the other day asking how Anaya was!:eek: First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -
Michelle - T still whacks herself with her rattle (and other stuff) and doesnt even flinch, if she catches me it really hurts!
Tia - thanks will compare with the fabric place in town and take it from there. My only issue would be where to store/what to do with left over fabric!
Well turkey stew in the slow cooker and still waiting grrr!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Morning All!
Congrats to GISI and Henry - H is the lactavist baby of the week :T
Susan you'll be in my prayers xx
Michelle - I have the top of the range graco contor electra travel cot and have used the bottom of the range one that is often in the asda baby event, the cheap one felt very wobbly and the base hard and i wouldn't recommend for frequent use. I have had a good look at the mid range £30-£50 ones before and they feel much more like my fancy one (i think the only reason mine was more expensive is for the extras like bassinet level and it has music and a light)
and just FYI I only have the top one because MIL got it and she likes to spend lots
I havent felt sick yet today so things are looking good, too scared to eat tho, all I've had in over 36hrs is a little biccy last night and a few polos0 -
thinking of you susan
