Lots of hugs for Susan and family. We're all thinking of you.got-it-spend-it wrote: »Is L excited about her birthday then 3? I can't wait until we get to the excited stage!
Very - but I think she's most excited that she'll get the bumps at gymnastics tonight!
She also says she doesn't want to be double figures, because before you know it, she'll be triple figures. :eek:Rats - Miles out and a drive. Dont think I can convince DH to drive there for the sake of a spatula.....:D
Next time i'm up there i'll see exactly what they have and how much, will let you know and maybe the fairies could get you what you need.Oh i will try M&S i knew someone would have the answer lol! some of them are like crepe paper lol!
How is your sister? i keep meaning to ask but forget!
I'll try the topshop ones now after Rmac's suggestion and i'll compare bobbling with Sister.
She's ok, thanks for asking. Her girlfriends are really good at taking her out and feeding her Vodka
to take her mind off her broken heart.
Still catching up.......:beer:0 -
R.mac - it's spangles for your lady bits, one word WHY?
:eek: why would I want to do that when no-one sees that area?
Another mini milestone, A can now shake her rattle and it's v.cute. I know it's nothing on the teeth/walking but she's only little!
She keeps whacking herself in the head but doesnt seem to notice. lol
go Anya! :T
sami - get well soon. Glad your feeling a bit brighter. It is annoying when LOs pass on their germs isn't it? :rotfl:
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

The LOs are all so cute and say very amusing things - but 3, L cracks me up everytime :rotfl: Its the combination of grown-up confidence with naivity that I love :rotfl:

hi

Please can I ask for some advice from Mel, Caz, SB and anyone with a youngish toddler when baby 2 is little?
Basically now that kessie is ravenously on solids I'm struggling with ordering our day so both are ok and happy.
What sort of things did you occupy toddler with whilst giving baby solids? ATM I need to help kess with his eating so this needs my hands.
Also, how did you go out with the two of them? Like double buggy plus baby plus toddler plus me doesn't fit in the change facility anywhere I can think of locally (blush) so i feel I can't go out for more than about 45 mins. (poos are now vvv regular since fergs laxatives) So any tips around that would be welcome
Also please can anyone remind me at what point you know to go up a shoe size?
My thoughts are also with lovely susan.
And hugs to anyone else who needs one

Re: Spangly lady bits, WHY? Especially when your LO's take up so much time you barely have time for any maintenance :rotfl:
Goodness me all the ladies I remember from the PG thread, your babies are so grown up now
Oh and there's no need to dress the baby to go 300 yds to post a letter, take him in his pj's! I'd go in my pj's

I've been through that will all three of mine and it still doesn't get any easier
Look on the bright side - at least he is well behaved in public so you'll look like a fabby Mam even if you feel like crap at home
Sorry to hear the news about Susan. Thinking of her xx
Bemused at vajazzle and can't see the attraction in sticking crystals on it. I can just imagine the "ooooh Mammy, why is your bummy all sparkly?" when I have a wee :rotfl:
That has just reminded of me of something Charlotte said the other day. She was naked before her shower and she was pointing to body parts and telling James what they were. She pointed to her foof and said "this bits called bummy." He said "and what do you call your back bum?" and she said "Geoffrey" ??? :rotfl:
Stil nervous but trying to keep calm my mind. Exam is from 2.30pm-5.30pm so I'll head off in half an hour or so to make sure I get there in good time. It's the final exam for my degree. Here I go again on my own....0 -

She is nuts! After saying about being double figures and triple figures she was asking if I think i'll ever be 100! I said I might, and she'd be looking after me, but she told me she's putting me in a home with Nanny & Grandad when i'm 50!:beer:0 -
*wonders if charlotte named it after Lord Archer. Agrees with charlotte's logic*

She will be coming back to PT when she is ready and I doubt that she will want much fuss but she would appreciate your prayers.
Thank you for letting us know MFD, that is very sad news indeed. Massive hugs for you, Susan. My thoughts are most certainly with you and your family.
[snip]
Sorry you had a bobbins night Aless.
Hope you feel better soon Becles.
Yay for teeth Som!
MFD, it sounds like you have a beautiful little boy who is clearly well behaved, so you should be very proud. Most LO's play up to their parents. Stay strong!
Very brave of you kindo of, but I agree with the binmen idea if you were planning on giving anything back.
Hello ticklepenny, I dont think we've "met" before.
Nothing new to report here except that we need to get a travel cot for A to sleep in whilst at inlaws as her rolling over and trying to sit up antics are not safe in her moses basket. She had to co sleep with me over the weekend (which wasnt good since she decided Im much better than a dummy for the whole night!). Any recommendations? I was looking at the Hauck ones? Obviously she will need a proper matress too.
And one more thing, I have entered A into the Mozy baby comp link and one of the prizes are offered to the pics with the most public votes. You can vote once EACH DAY. Please will you help us in winning once our pics have been approved and getting your friends on FB to vote too? (Im sure Em Eff Dee would be eager to vote! lol) I will try to remind people to vote each day. Is there anywhere on MSE where I can ask ppl to vote too or are we not allowed to do that?
Bobbins night made me
.
We have the Red Kite one from Asda and it is fine for occasional use. I wouldn't want to use it every night as the base isn't that squidgy, but we tend to put an extra fleecy blanket under the sheet and it has been fine for holibobs and visiting.
I've voted for the lovely Ayana.Perhaps they've been using the likes of the jammie dodger and the party ring for their vajazzling????
:A
:rotfl:
 for the bumps for L!
Glad your feeling better Sami. Did you get your mum to come and help with the boys in the end? I am very proud of my lovely H being Lactivist baby of the month
.
:T Thank you for the Raisin Scone recipe, Aless. I have tons of hot oat cereal in the cupboard so will give them a go (minus the lard for us though).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

TMI, I had Weezls bean curry last night for my dinner, and it was lovely. But... lets just say pulses don't agree with me and today I am feeling a bit poorly... But there is some left in the fridge and all I can think is 'mmmmmm nice, me want more!'.0
