It bugs me when people spell Lily with 2 L's.

For example, in a text i will write, 'Lily is now 17lbs 3ozs' and they will respond spelling her name LILLY.

Jakes, I'm forever getting my name spelt wrong too, and it's a pretty ordinary name. My NHS maternity card thing has got my surname spelt with an M, not an H for some reason.

Tried putting Sophie upright in her pram for the first time. She wasn't impressed, she just looked so small and miserable, so the carrycot bit is going back on when I can figure out how to take the leg bars off. The recline is also really faffy. For the first time I feel slightly less love for my pram - is this how all you pram addicts started?

I think that's how it starts Bex... Little things start to niggle at you, then you start looking at other prams... You start to think they are better than what you have... But I think they all have their own little faults... lol...

We're back from ITNG live... Caitlyn enjoyed it... We think... She was absolutely deadpan the whole way through... But she had a huuuuuuuuge smile and really clapped when it finished... So maybe she was just concentrating really hard... It is a good show though, I'm just uploading pictures to facebook now...

We popped into pumpkin patch on the way back and managed to spend a small fortune... But the stuff is so lovely!!!

So it's not a 'new' pram, I got it off ebay 2nd hand.

Krystal, yeah, I'm a bit cos I didn't want to fall out of love with it as it's fantastic for walking everywhere. I think I just need to spend a good half hour or so playing with it properly.

OH is so sad, he's looking forward to Sophie starting weaning so he can eat baby rice again.

Looks like a nice pram though, I borrowed one similar when we went to Austria when Chris was 13mths, I loved it but I use the car most of the time here so not practical to have a big traditional one. Does the handle swap from one side to the other?
Also WHY??!!! baby rice is vile!! your OH is weird

Bex, that's a very similar stryle to my big gay pram, brilliant for walking around and super comfy for the baby... I only stopped using mine because it started squeaking and it was getting embarrassing... I have kept it for snow though, it's a million times better than any other buggy for snow...

I would just have a good play with it, get used to how the mechanisms work... It becomes second nature eventually... And I don't like the recline mechanism on the oyster really, it feels flimsy... The Maclaren has a brilliant recline, but no parent facing and Caitlyn never really looked comfy in it...
