CAFC you do make me laugh. And why would you need to get L dressed?! Just put a blanket over him and put him in his pushchair. Or is you that's really not dressed?! :rotfl: Go in your pj's!
  • Keep meaning to ask but Sugar's 8 box story reminded me, those of you making Xmas hampers, what are you using for the actual hamper bit? I want something which looks nice but doesn't cost much.

SJ - great question, I would like to know too.
We're looking at doing hampers this year, but I really don't know what to use. I've only done it once before for my husband's grandparents and we just wrapped a cardboard box in wrapping paper and put a ribbon around it, but I would really like to use something a bit more like a traditional hamper this year.

  • So sorry to hear about Susan's news. :(:A Lots of hugs and prayers for you and your family.

Lovely pics of Amber Tia! I love the fact that the tutus are sooo girly!

Hugs for Bruno- I do think your right. And im sure that DW's FIL would love some adult time too at some point during his stay.

Sorry you had a bobbins night Aless.

Hope you feel better soon Becles.

    Yay for teeth Som!

MFD, it sounds like you have a beautiful little boy who is clearly well behaved, so you should be very proud. Most LO's play up to their parents. Stay strong! :)

Very brave of you kindo of, but I agree with the binmen idea if you were planning on giving anything back.

Hello ticklepenny, I dont think we've "met" before. :D

Nothing new to report here except that we need to get a travel cot for A to sleep in whilst at inlaws as her rolling over and trying to sit up antics are not safe in her moses basket. She had to co sleep with me over the weekend (which wasnt good since she decided Im much better than a dummy for the whole night!). Any recommendations? I was looking at the Hauck ones? Obviously she will need a proper matress too.

And one more thing, I have entered A into the Mozy baby comp link and one of the prizes are offered to the pics with the most public votes. You can vote once EACH DAY. Please will you help us in winning once our pics have been approved and getting your friends on FB to vote too? (Im sure Em Eff Dee would be eager to vote! lol) I will try to remind people to vote each day. Is there anywhere on MSE where I can ask ppl to vote too or are we not allowed to do that?

EA - I got rid of all my laminate as soon as I got pregnant. Carpets are more baby friendly IMHO. I would get the biggest rug you can.

We cant replace the flooring as its a private house. The only issue i have with rugs is that it may slip, unless i can attach some rubber gripping onto the bottom.

Susan, my thoughts are with you :(

Im feeling like poo today and we have to go out to the council to give housing benefit two of felix payslips that he doesn't have. Work dont have them and i doubt they are here. It seems whenever we get good news, something always goes tits up to balance it out and make sure we dont get to happy.

Michelle - happy to vote when A is there, just give us a reminder :) Mothercare had 20% off travel cots the other day, tbh there isnt much differance in the standard travel cots once there up, unless you want a basinett or changer, its just the look of them and the weight.

Kindof - yeay for tooth 3, you were right about E being not far behind T.

    Susan - ((hugs))

EA - that really sucks hope they turn up. If you buy a big enough rug then it shouldnt move, but the grippy stuff is good my mum used to have it under her halway runner in her last house.

My Regatta delivery just turned up, now just the collection and I can escape the house :D

    Morning

I feel like crap this morning - not fair! Got a headache, incredibly sore throat and a stuffy nose.

Another morning of revision. I'm not confident about this and very nervous.

Have a good day all xx

susan - my prayers are with you. MFD, thanks for letting us know. We were worried.

Have I mentioned how cute I think benjamin is :D But A sleeps well at her nap these days but leads us a merry dance at bedtime. based on my experiences as well as 3, Caz and You, I think we can safely call it a phase :rotfl:

Caz - let us know what bed you go for.

We made banana muffins this morning using SB's recipe. They are delicious!
