:rotfl:Tia. OH is such a wuss with baby bodily functions. Or, he'll see her spew/ piddle all over herself, then look confused if I ask him to fetch a towel to mop it up.

  • Oh, I see! That is definitely a lesson she will not forget. Could you wait until bin day and say that the bin men had returned a couple of the more costly items as they thought it must have been a mistake that they were in the bin? That way it's not you relenting.....

:DKrystal -did they really go in the bin  or is it a secret bin that is actually the garden shed (or similar receptical)?;) You are right though - threats do have to be followed through.

MFD - welcome to my world :p:D A's behavious got more and more tantrumy and disruptive sleep about oh how many weeks ago was it I was on here moaning at you lot - 4 or so?! Anyway, it turns out it was her 4 eye teeth coming through. She slept through the night and went to sleep on first settling for the first time ina bout a month last night. Perhaps its that? But if its not that then its just a phase and its normal.

Off to read back some more. got yummy gingerbread in the oven so can't possibly go to bed yet :D

had a lovely weekend. I feel like I'm back on top of things again, having got a chance to visit the huge tescos by myself, read the papers, had a cinema trip yesterday, cleaning the house and made a roast dinner today. This is going to be a good week :D

Out by the bin we have a brick cupboard where the gas meter (and the big gay pram chasis) is, Hubby took the bag out and shut the door after him so it looked like it was going in the bin and shoved it in the cupboard... He just fetched it in and we had a look lol, there wasn't actually much in there... Most of it was doll house furniture that I just snuck back into the box, and a few of Caitlyn's teddies... The only thing I'm loathe to throw away and she definitely knew was in the bag is the ELC till... I'm going to put it in the shed until Caitlyn's big enough to play with it... Saves having to buy another lol...

I have ditched a couple of bits because they're just flimsy plastic nonsense bits of play sets... But I think it's just the fact we took a bag to her floor and threw things away... Hopefully it's enough that she'll know not to mess with us next time...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • MacSmiler - he has been sleeping mostly okay when he goes down. He just doesn't want me to leave the room. I don't think it is his teeth, but I guess it could be *shrugs*

He is mostly a good boy, it is just the moments of complete tantrums that make me [STRIKE] glad I am a working mummy[/STRIKE] hope that it passes very quickly :o

tia - did you make those tutu's? they are gorgeous. I'm thinking A might need one.........In fact - do you sell them?

ticklepenny - what about jelly with sweeties suspended in it? or biscuts in the shape of bats/frogs/stars/moons etc, sandwiches cut into fancy shapes, apples, or even mini sausages and chunks of cheese?
Its hard at this age as some are fussy eaters/parents are quite strict so what about concentrating on the halloween decorated plates etc rather than the contents IYKWIM?

emlou - we have a Monkey Biz here in Edinburgh. I'm not a huge fan - the council run soft plays are so much better value for money IMHO, but I think they all depend on the management and venue. I hope your one is good.

Becles - please don't panic! I'm sure it'll all be fine. hugs

caz - how is charlie doing? Have the others escaped so far? Leggings - well my M&S ones went a bit bobbly, but had a nice soft feel. I've got new ones from top shop and they are fab (on my sisters recommendation).

re: funny word A learnt 'Red Wine' over the weekend :rotfl:in my defence we were all out for dinner and that was what I ordered. It was hilarious. 'Mummy's red wine' was all we heard in the car on the way home *NB DH was driving* ;)

MFD - he's a grogeous boy and as you keep reminding me - they aren't bad or 'not good', they are just learning and testing boundaries! Its only cause he likes your sparkling conversation and singing of twinkle twinkle that he doesn't want to go to sleep :rotfl:

SJ, did you pay by card? If so, print out a copy of your statement showing that transaction. By law they don't have to provide a receipt so you don't have to provide one, just proof of purchase. I think asking what till is taking it too far.

Sorry to be picky, but that's only if the item is faulty.

If the boots don't fit, legally you are not entitled to a refund at all. However places like Asda have a refund policy but you have to stick to their rules for that. In this case they want a receipt or more information so they can locate the receipt in their system.

I had similar with B&Q where I lost the receipt and the lights I bought were the wrong size. I knew the date and rough time of purchase and they were able to find it on their system. Took ages though and she only did it as they were quiet.

Pleased most people seem to have had a lovely day today xx

Yay for Landen weeing on Daddy :D

Thanks for the hugs rmac. I'm still nervous. I've just drugged myself so hopefully I'll have a decent nights sleep tonight :o
Here I go again on my own....
