I guess he won't be the first baby to behave like an angel for others and a b00ger for his mummy but I feel like poop :(

Morning MFD. Would it help to think of how well you've taught Benjamin to behave and how comfortable and secure he must feel to be able to test his boundaries with you and not others?

MFD - Sending a hug. As SS says, it's a sign what a good mother you are that Benjamin is so well-behaved for the cm, it's much better than the other way round where they are a monster for anyone other than you - believe me!
Becles - sending get well soon hug, I hope the exam goes well.
GISI - have fun on London
Aless - bad luck with the teeth. Hope you can catch up on some sleep later?
SS - I'm really impressed with your productivity - can you please send me a boot up the backside? Desperately need to get tidying as the house is a mess (wet washing everywhere!) and our buyers are coming this afternoon for another look and to measure up.

MFD my monkey will sleep no porblem in the afternoon! she climbs up the stairs to her cot lies down and goes to sleep! we were up until 1.30am this morning as she contiually climed out and refused to go to sleep. She is still sleeping as i know i will have a nightmare on my hands if she doesnt have a good few hours. I am cutting out the afternoon nap today to see if that helps.

  • I have been chatting to Susan and I am very sorry to tell you all that she has suffered an early miscarriage. She is okay, albeit very tired and obviously upset. She will be coming back to PT when she is ready and I doubt that she will want much fuss but she would appreciate your prayers.

    Morning all

Mummy 3 Daycare here as well as Daddy has gone off to work sans pee. Im still laughing about it..

DH propped L up on the sofa earlier, as I had my head stuck in cupboard. As L can now roll, he rolled himself from sitting upright so on his front, head off edge of sofa and the throw sliding off sofa, swoop in SuperMummy at the rate of a speeding bullet, crisis averted, lot of kisses (for mummy not L he couldnt give a moss!).... DH suitably made to feel uber guilty for trying to kill darling baby boy....

I had L out on the floor for some kicking out time on his blanket because he was being whingey in his travel cot.... However the pesky so and so has now fallen asleep, and because the dog is out, Im gonna have to sit in this exact spot till nap time is over, and I need a wee. Might have to take the dog with me (he gets too excited L, and wants to lick his face off)....

Nowt much planned for the day, I need to go to post box but I might do that when DH gets back from work, its only 300yards or so from the house but I cant be !!!!!d getting L dressed for such a menile trip.....

Thanks for letting us know MFD, that's very sad news. I don't do prayers I'm afraid but my thoughts are with her.

Forgotten what else I was going to say now......

Ok, yey for Henry climbing stairs!!!!! :T

Yey for teeth but boo to teething! We are still a gummy household!

Boo to waking up in the night, we had that again last night, Alfie was waking every half hour or so coughing :( Surprised he's so cheerful really today.

MFD as others have said I think it's a great testament to you that Benjamin is so well behaved for others. But have a hug anyway as I can see how it would be very upsetting.

BIL who called off his wedding the other week is visiting us today so will be lovely to see him.

Keep meaning to ask but Sugar's 8 box story reminded me, those of you making Xmas hampers, what are you using for the actual hamper bit? I want something which looks nice but doesn't cost much.

Susan, my thoughts are with you. Take care.

Becles, hope your revision goes ok and that you're feeling better soon.

CAFC yikes at Landen nearly rolling off the sofa! It's a good thing mummies have super powers.

Feeling pretty chuffed as I've randomly lost 2.5kg of the baby blubber, only 4kg to go!
