Difficult to say as obviously they replace things we would normally eat and some of the stuff would last a week or more. We normally spend about £40/week so I guess you could say £60 for the week although because some of it is replacing other stuff we would buy and the £40/week includes the Christmas food, it's probably less than that - maybe around £50 for the week for the three of us?Susan what would it be if you added to a normal day's food spend then?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

We've always been at home for Christmas and Alice has never got bored. In fact her first Christmas if she'd had all her presents on Christmas Day, she wouldn't have managed to open them all as she wouldn't have had time.Although personally I think a big family Christmas is way more eciting, don't you think E would be bored by lunch if he's a home as usual (well not totally as usual but I hope u know what I mean)Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I would've been here about an hour ago but I got sucked into reading back and then had to deal with crying baby. Anyway, we have internet now! :T :T :T Unfortunately, our main laptop which is just barely over a year old has decided to pack it up as of yesterday
. Thank God I bought a netbook when in the USA in July! From my research, it seems the hard drive has died so once I've ordered a replacement I can *fingers crossed* install it myself and get the comp working again.

I always just pierce the skin and shot it in the micro. I don't think you are supposed to eat the skin off?another MSEer from aberdeen brought them to the london meet that aless came to as well?
My mealies were gorgeous but like a southern numpty I took the skin off!
(so would that add on another £5ish?)
Well bacon and chipolatas would cost an extra £5. But that meal was to feed Me, Idris, Keira, his mum and dad, his sister and her bf so - 7 people.
There was a huge amount of leftovers, and I was still using bits of the beef and turkey well into the end of Jan.0
