Still feeling sad and a bit lonely as Craig went to bed early as he's poorly. Think I'll join him and hopefully I'll feel brighter in the morning. Here I go again on my own....0

Can someone please offer me some baby bottle advice please... A lovely family member gave baby Theo some boots vouchers as a gift, one of them we wana use for new bottles (the bigger size ones) as I need to pick up some bits from there soon I thought I would get the bottles sorted. So far we have been using TT CTN bottles, I was going to buy the TT anti colic bottles but the reviews are a bit mixed, however the Dr Brown bottles have really good reviews. I thought about maybe buying one and trying Theo with it, does anyone have any experience of Dr Browns with a typically windy baby? Is it okay to change types of bottles/ teats with such a young baby?
I am not sure but OH seems keen to try something as Theo hangs onto his burps, help please!!!
Buy one and see how he goes, I think Kindofagil uses Dr.Browns and she said it does take time to see any difference.
In my experience it's not problem changing teats and bottles to get one that suits. But once you do get one that suits, stick to it.
Have you tried infacol or gripe water or anything?
How do you wind him? Have you tried walking up stairs, cycling his legs, rocking him on your knee (more of a wide circle than rocking). Sorry if you have and you think I'm talking to you life your daft, I'm not it just took me ages to work that out on my own.0 -
I use the little walkers and superdry normally but would use natural fit I had a voucher. I only buy the SD because they're cheaper than NF
Thank you :kisses3:
What about wipes and Pull Ups? Can you tell I'm clearing out my voucher purse :rotfl:Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -

Regarding secret santa.. how about if its £10, what about £5 for a mummy gift and the other £5 for a baby gift. I suppose it might get complicated if you have more than one child.. but its an idea (please say if this is stupid my brain is mush tonight!)
!
Sounds good to me - oh yeah forgot I have 2 boys!!
CAFC - add me on as well - sent request on FBMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Buttons, it's not Mighty Matts (Matt Fiddes) is it? Coz it's a big huge fat skanky rip off. Otherwise, go for it. We can call her Buffy and she can punch the lights out of teh chavvy kids0

Also anyone who's still waiting for their fairy post..I took them to post today and came home with them again!! I'll get them sent 1st class tomorrow so that you'll get them for the start of the event. GISI I accidentally put a BM voucher in with yours too! Just pass it on if you won't use it!
WM - thanks again for that stuff...was dashing this morning so just had a proper look now. So pleased with it all. How did you know I have no brown cardies/warm tops for him?? I hate putting him in blue when he's wearing natural colours lol :rotfl: Can't wait to take him swimming next week to try the wet suit out :T
Possible a silly question - when you're defrosting expressed breast milk...am I right in thinking you have 24 hours? Is that 24 hours from removing it from the freezer and putting it in the fridge, or 24 hours from it defrosting? I'm at a hen do on Sat so DH is doing all feeds including through the night :j:j:j and I want to make it as easy as possible for him. (foolproof lol)Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

You are a star!
PS. Gill is the answer to your EBM qu not answered in the leaflet linked in post #2 of the thread? if not I'd err on the side of 24hrs from removing from freezer.
when i tried Ed with EBM i took it straight from the freezer, if its in a bag it defrost/warms pretty quickly0 -
Thanks Sami - it actually doesnt mention the 24 hour thing at all there. He did it that way last time but it was easy coz there were only 2 bags in the freezer. There's lots this time and I think he'll get confused lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Thank you for the extra voucher! I'm very excited about my bargains.
Try T K Maxx for a changing bag as they often have some nice ones at less than half the RRP. Have you tried out your Zia yet? I'm sure you will love it.
Bad night here- I'm sure it was teeth. Had an hour of inconsolable crying from 10-11 which is very unusual for Henry. It was horrible, he was just distraught. He slept in with me as hubby was at work but I don't think either of us got much sleep. I seriously can't be arsed to go to work today- I am so tempted to have a PJ day but I never do so I'm sure I'll drag my sorry self into work.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Oh poor Henry! Hope those nasty teeth come through soon for him.
I'm wondering when Mr McSnotty's nose will ever clear up - getting a bit tired of wiping drippy bogeys all the time.
So DH is a very cautious sort of person and rang one of the CM's references last night just to double check. Apparently the guy sounded rather shocked that someone was actually checking her references as we've somehow secured the saint among CMs in the area who is so well known that there's sometimes a waiting list for her and other CMs go to her if they need help! LOL, DH was suitably humbled after the phone call.
Hmm, need to go out for a few different bits today, but it's supposed to rain all day so not sure how much will actually get done. May just do some baking instead!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
