    Thank you :kisses3:

    Evening all

Regarding secret santa.. how about if its £10, what about £5 for a mummy gift and the other £5 for a baby gift. I suppose it might get complicated if you have more than one child.. but its an idea (please say if this is stupid my brain is mush tonight!)

    !

Sounds good to me - oh yeah forgot I have 2 boys!!

CAFC - add me on as well - sent request on FB

Buttons, it's not Mighty Matts (Matt Fiddes) is it? Coz it's a big huge fat skanky rip off. Otherwise, go for it. We can call her Buffy and she can punch the lights out of teh chavvy kids ;)

Beenie - what happened at swimming??

My Graco change bag is ripped :( Probably coz I've been stuffing so much stuff into it!....but that means I need a new one....and I'm thinking a nice red one to match my new Zia...which came today :j:j

Any suggestions/recommendations? I need to fit lots of stuff in it and ideally dont want to pay more than £30

Jillie - got your number, i'll text u mine tomorrow

Also anyone who's still waiting for their fairy post..I took them to post today and came home with them again!! I'll get them sent 1st class tomorrow so that you'll get them for the start of the event. GISI I accidentally put a BM voucher in with yours too! Just pass it on if you won't use it!

WM - thanks again for that stuff...was dashing this morning so just had a proper look now. So pleased with it all. How did you know I have no brown cardies/warm tops for him?? I hate putting him in blue when he's wearing natural colours lol :rotfl: Can't wait to take him swimming next week to try the wet suit out :T

Possible a silly question - when you're defrosting expressed breast milk...am I right in thinking you have 24 hours? Is that 24 hours from removing it from the freezer and putting it in the fridge, or 24 hours from it defrosting? I'm at a hen do on Sat so DH is doing all feeds including through the night :j:j:j and I want to make it as easy as possible for him. (foolproof lol)

I used huggies wipes but if anyone else wants them I can pass coz I have about 100 packs up stairs  don't use pull ups at all tho
    You are a star!

PS. Gill is the answer to your EBM qu not answered in the leaflet linked in post #2 of the thread? if not I'd err on the side of 24hrs from removing from freezer.
when i tried Ed with EBM i took it straight from the freezer, if its in a bag it defrost/warms pretty quickly

Thanks Sami - it actually doesnt mention the 24 hour thing at all there. He did it that way last time but it was easy coz there were only 2 bags in the freezer. There's lots this time and I think he'll get confused lol

Thank you for the extra voucher! I'm very excited about my bargains.

Try T K Maxx for a changing bag as they often have some nice ones at less than half the RRP. Have you tried out your Zia yet? I'm sure you will love it.

Bad night here- I'm sure it was teeth. Had an hour of inconsolable crying from 10-11 which is very unusual for Henry. It was horrible, he was just distraught. He slept in with me as hubby was at work but I don't think either of us got much sleep. I seriously can't be arsed to go to work today- I am so tempted to have a PJ day but I never do so I'm sure I'll drag my sorry self into work.

Oh poor Henry! Hope those nasty teeth come through soon for him.

I'm wondering when Mr McSnotty's nose will ever clear up - getting a bit tired of wiping drippy bogeys all the time :p.

So DH is a very cautious sort of person and rang one of the CM's references last night just to double check. Apparently the guy sounded rather shocked that someone was actually checking her references as we've somehow secured the saint among CMs in the area who is so well known that there's sometimes a waiting list for her and other CMs go to her if they need help! LOL, DH was suitably humbled after the phone call.

Hmm, need to go out for a few different bits today, but it's supposed to rain all day so not sure how much will actually get done. May just do some baking instead!

I'm still pukey and achey and ming but i am now thinking it is necessary to cancel meeting a Very Important Friend tomorrow, but i have been fannying about for about 3 weeks now and i hate letting people down and proving myself to be the most unreliable useless friend in the world :( This is why i have practically no friends! I was thinking i could be a bit better now but after the scene i caused at swimming lessons tonight i am thinking docs might be a good idea :o
It's not your fault that your ill and you can't really predict how long being ill lasts. I had worked out that you probably would be too ill but I didn't like to say anything in case it either sounded like I didn't want you to come or it made you feel like you ought to come even if you were too ill. And you are not an unreliable and useless friend. Hope the doctors is useful and you are feeling better soon.

On a totally unrelated note  I was surprised to notice Susan is the highest poster of this thread.
I was  when I noticed last week. I think it's partly because I stopped combining all my replies to people into one big post and partly because other people who were more prolific posters have posted less which makes mine a higher proportion of the total. Also the slower speed of the thread means there's less likely to already be replies to things which makes me more likely to reply. And I've clearly been giving that far too much thought. :o

Sorry for posting sad news yesterday. I was being selfish and only posted it because I wanted a bit of support and just ended up getting more upset because I was ignored.

Have a good day all xx
