MSE Parents Club Part 14

Aw Kazza bless her - it must be horrible. I also remember girly nastyness, but as you say, it was in senior school. Does she have any friends out of school from other clubs/interests? My DD has some nice friends at gymnastics from different junior schools to ours. There is every chance some of these will end up in the same senior school so she'll already have some friends when she gets there.
One horrible thing our group did, was one girl (not from the group) was having a sleepover party and invited 4 of the 5 in the group. My DD was stressing about it, and told me that the one who wasn't invited had told the invited 4 that they were to say they were going, but not turn up on the night, basically to ruin this poor girls party! My DD felt it was wrong and didn't want to do it, but didn't want to be kicked out of the group for going to the sleepover. This was early last year, thankfully my DD has realised what a bunch of horrors these girls are, and made new friends.
She does have friends from Brownies but if she goes off and plays with other children, then they entice her back, are nice to her for a couple of days and then they start with the nastiness again.
She has/had two main friends girl one, which she saw a couple of times in the 6 week holiday, and girl 2 who kept making excuses that she was busy and she had no contact with. My daughter is like the gooseberry between the two. When she spent time with girl one, she was told that girl 2 hated her and that she had been told to have nothing to do with her after the 6 weeks holiday!
Today she was told that she has been kicked out of "the gang" (one of which has had a couple of bullying accusations with other girls!) and she played with someone else.
She has been onto childline the lasy two evenings and she found that quite comforting to have someone to talk to. I was really impressed with them.0 -

Well after much discussion with the boys...ds2 is now having a lazer party, and ds1 MIGHT be having one of these:eek:
Mel That looks brilliant - I want a party there!
After discussions this evening with L, I told her she either has her big present (bike) and small sleepover (3 girls & pizza), or a big party and little presents. She's going with the bike & sleepover. :rotfl::beer:0 -

MFD you only got the Heinz one, I linked to the list
I like ordering bulk stuff from them - like now, 12-pack of black food colouring and 3.5kg bread flour plus some other random sundries. I think the best bargain is the 25kg - TWENTY-FIVE KILOGRAMS - of relish for 1p. Almost worth buying, heating, spooning into sterilised baby food jars and passing off as home made :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

:rotfl: please no truckload of relish :rotfl:
I did not order loads of relish, but only because I've already made loads of chutney
I did buy pectin though to make jam using bog standard sugar and not more expensive jam sugar.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
