  • I so want to slap OH. Alexs bag was on the table and his coat on a chair. So OCD man flipped and is apparently sick of cleaning. The fact that his stuff is all over the table seems to have past him by. He walked in and had spag bol and garlic bread handed to him and his a5s is now stuck to the couch. Whilst WM has cooked said spag bol, wrestled the jumperoo to pieces, put wash in then in the dryer. Put jumperoo back together. Done bath, bottle, bed with Alex, spellings with Joe and sorted alexs bag for tomorrow. And I seem to have done it
all through astral projection because he thinks
ive been sat down since I came in.

    Ranty, ranty, rant.....

  • That looks awesome, Mel. Can I come?

My fairies have a paperback copy of Gill Rapley's Baby Led Weaning book. It's the one that was free with one of the parenting magazines a while ago. No pictures or anything in it, but quite useful. Shout up if you would like it.

Kindof- my fairies still haven't made it to the post office, I'm afraid. I will suitable reprimand them and send them on their way!

Not caught up so *hugs* to all.

Busy day here. Worked until mid afternoon, then came home and took the dogs out. I bumped into a lady who said it was weird seeing me walking without a bairn hanging on my arm and it made me feel a bit sad :(

Picked Charlotte up from school, cooked tea and went to boot camp. It was lashing it down with rain when I left home, but luckily it dried up a a bit. Only six turned up. I like it better when it's a small group as it's more like a personal training session.

Just found out my Mam's friend died of breast cancer yesterday. She was only late 50's and I used to go round and stay some days as her daughters are slightly younger than me and we all played together. Sad news :(

Better go for a shower as I stink :o
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks, I am trying to put it into perspective. :) She is gorgeous and a very calm baby so I am very lucky in that respect. I might just try to put my feelings/tiredness to one side until this time next week and see how I feel then. If its the same then I may need to get DH to do some of the feeds- possibly only at the weekend though. He is currently running me a bath after handing me a small alcoholic beverage. :p

I also meant to say earlier that lots of us have given formula to our babies on an occasional or regular basis - it is entirely a matter of personal choice and what is best for you and your family.

Benjamin used to have the odd carton here and there, or a bottle of expressed house white to give me a bit of a break but also because by the time he was A's age I had sneaked my first night away ;)

But I think the point was it won't neccessarily make her sleep ;) but then it might *shrugs*
