LOL, you have a violent little child, SS! :rotfl: Did she get it from her mum or dad? :D

    Yes :o

She also refuses to let me change her nappy, although she's happy for Husband to do it. I have no idea what will happen when it's just her and me all home all day.

    Evening all :D

Gill - you fairies arrived thankyou so much, will satrt plotting what to buy now :D

SJ - Your fairies arrived too, am gonna get started on it tonight but already had a look at all the cutie babies having a good nom :D

SS - eek at being scratched! T has nails I cant keep up with at the mo, she occasionally scratches me by accidnt and quite often gets her self, usually on the nose she looks like a lil bruiser sometimes.

Can I ask those of you with younger babies, what meal times do you have? As in are they set or is it whenever? We have no issues with breakfast here as its always not long after we get up but lunch and dinner fluctuate.

Succesful day getting perfume, picked up a 100ml bottle of ghost for £24.99 should have been £43 :) Also parked outside of town and took a walk in so got some good exercise. Hope the weather stays like this as my Mum and Stepdad are visiting this weekend and would be nice for us to get out and not be cramped indoors all weekend.

  • SS - I have a child who will give Daddy all the affection in the world but fights me all the time, I think it's because I'm the one that dishes out the discipline.

Had a meeting with a HR Consultant that work has brought in today, I'm suspicious about her HR credentials though as she didn't know about Flexible Working, just said it was something I'd had at a previous company!?

Her first question had alarm bells ringing though, what are your plans? Are you planning on leaving or wanting to stay? So of course I replied I want to stay. After that I just gave the answers she wanted as she was obviously on a fishing expedition.

  • Evening all. My weekend is here, and potty training starts tomorrow, eep. Bought more pants today, have 16 pairs now, so I expect that still won't be enough, but never mind - we can go back to the shop tomorrow!

I've not had a chance to read back (doing my bingo posts at the mo!) How is everyone?

I hate to say it but it was putting times to mealtimes that made it all work for us. We breakfast at 8am, lunch at 12 noon and dinner at 5pm - if he doesn't eat at those intervals then he is a grumpy babba - and his hungry grumpy is very similar to his tired grumpy :(

We do vary slightly but not by far.

My ex-employer was a large multinational construction company and the HR manager (a woman) knew nothing about KIT days when I went on maternity leave.

Sounds like she was someone brought in to scope you out!

I have no idea what it is, but it is disheartening :(

Your HR person sounds like a muppet - fishing expeditions should be much more subtle than that.

GISI I have two BP redeems from last week that haven't been redeemed yet and I am a bit  about it.

Hello, busy on here tonight! :D
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Hugs MDW, your HR person sounds unhelpful to say the least. I hope you manage to get a resolution though as it must all be really stressful.

SS- I have one redeem outstanding from last week, and i have emailed to chase but heard nothing.
