It doesnt exactly go crispy, but if (like me) you dont like a deep crust its all good! I'm just pleased to have found something else to add to my "I've nothing in for dinner so what can I scrabble together" list!

That Takeaway Secret book is awesome. I've made chicken kebabs, chocolate cheesecake, breakfast pancakes, pizza sauce and southern fried chicken and all were absolutely delicious! Not quite like the real thing, but closer and tastier than having the supermarket equivalent. If anyone wants any recipes let me know and I'll type them up. Theres all kinds, Mcdonalds, KFC, Chinese, curry, etc!
ooh I'd like to try a KFC coating thing if you don't mind. xx

Not much to report from chez bee, Went to the trafford to today for the apple store and I now have a fully working ipod again :D went to da 'rents for tea as hubby is away with work, off to bed now

I'm sorry WM, I'm up too. Husband inexplicably brought Molly into the big bed very early and she has been thrashing about like a fish ever since. Plus I am not doing well at all, an undignified post-baby body horror has reared its head and my eyelid is swollen and infected looking. Plus there is a mosquito in the bedroom so I am wondering if it has bitten my eyelid and the headbutt to the eye was just insult to injury.

It's only a tiny sore patch, but it really hurts every time I blink and because it's swollen I blink about eighteen times a minute :(

Oh right, ill try and figure out the swag bucks thing lol

Som I missed your oust about meal times, but e has breakfast at 8-8.30 lunch at 12.30 and tea at 4-5 he starts getting grumpy if he gets it late, someone on another forum said i was making it too strict cos with e's bottles he feeds every 2 hours, 6 bottle, 8 breakfast, 10 bottle, 12 lunch, 2 bottle, 4 tea, 6 bottle then bed, but IMO i like it like that cos i presume he'll eventually drop the 10 and 2 bottle?. It works for us anyway lol

Well Elliot is back to !!!!! nights lol, I'm tired

  • Hugs to those who've had rubbish nights. I hope you managed to get back to sleep in the end.

Up at 6am here but I don't mind as Henry slept through for the first time all week. No work today :j so we're of to NCT tea group this morning then have my grandparents coming this afternoon.

I've got that takeaway book, Em. Not tried anything from it yet so might do that pizza tonight.

Michelle- have you tried Spatone for iron? Much gentler than tablets.

  • Thanks Kindof. Fingers crossed E will start doing it regularly too. The first time is the break through because then at least you know he can do it!
