  • Yeah exactly, i know he can do it now, so just need him to keep doing it lol.

I wish Elliot wasn't growing as fast as he is, I got him some jogging bottoms at m&co yesterday, got him 9-12 month as they go up to weight 22lb and he is already 21lb, and expected to have to roll them up at the bottom, and I don't have too, they fit him already, same goes with all asda clothes as well, and most of his shoes don't fit him, he is in his size 3's already :(

  • We've found H&M clothes quite generous for the size, and Next seem to be too. Sizes vary so much. Henry is in some 6-9 months still, mostly 9-12 and some 12-18 months. It's mad (but like adults clothes, I guess).

    Morning

Sorry to hear you've had a bad night SS.

Charlotte got up for a wee just before 6am, and then wouldn't go back to bed, so I'm shattered too.

Busy today with loads of jobs to do.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....

Well done Henry! (and E!) Do you mean he didn't take a booby feed in the night or had he just been waking up otherwise? We still feed in the night here, but now that we're working on dropping the daytime feeds in preparation for back to work, I really don't feel like I can ask him to drop that one as well :o.

Plans for today involve going to register at a GP (been here a month and not done that yet :o:o), baking bread & making some spreads a la weezl's CFR so we have stuff to eat! Been far too over-indulgent with food & snacks lately, so it's time to buckle down and stick to budget (and diet!!).

You see I've found next too small for him, I don't know if it's his frame, he has really chunky thighs, and a big belly lol

It's just really hard when you go shopping and u have to think what size to get him from which shops lol

Tops wise he isbok with 6-9 months but pants wise he's not

  • Moning all. Toilet training not going too bad so far. Got her nappy off this morning and sat her in the potty in the bathroom when I went to the loo, and she went fine, but then she refused to put clothes on without putting a nappy on first and we had to go take DH to the bus, so I couldn't just leave her naked. She is still being properly stroppy, we're going to have a fun day!

Kindof I have a list of what fits Molly from where, and it lives in my organiser ;)

Thanks lovelies, I have decided that today will be a lovely positive day and as such we are having breakfast with music. Molly has finished her eggs and is waving a piece of sausage around while dancing. Warms the cockles, it does. My eye still hurts and there is still a mosquito in the bedroom, but it is sunny outside and Molly and I are off to mummies' lunch at the Oktoberfest.

He's been waking up because of his teeth and wanting a night feed. He doesn't usually have one though. When I'm home he also has two daytime feeds, but when I'm at work he'll usually just have one milk drink from a cup.

I got a card through the door today as we went to docs for A's second lot of injections. We were just debating on how we provide I.D for the package (because A is named)... lol DH just gave her the card and said "you need to go and pick your stuff up", she then proceeded to eat the card. :D Just to make sure, hes took a pic of her holding the card! :rotfl: and will be taking her birth cert too. :rotfl:What is he like? Thank you very much though. Excited about it as DH hasnt got a clue what it is. :D
Do you get asked for ID? I know it says you need it on the card but I've never been asked for it. I've always figured that as long as you have the card and you have the same surname that should be sufficient anyway.

I think part of the problem is that they change shape so much in the first year (legs and arms get really fat and then they grow longer and go thin again and the torso doesn't grow that much relative to the legs) so if they are in the "wrong" size for their age then the shape isn't always right.
