The base sounds odd Em - but if you say it works, I might get OH to do it tomorrow. We've got some swedish meatballs that need using...I will challenge him to recreate the Dominos Meatball Mayhem. :rotfl:

I hate to say it but it was putting times to mealtimes that made it all work for us. We breakfast at 8am, lunch at 12 noon and dinner at 5pm - if he doesn't eat at those intervals then he is a grumpy babba - and his hungry grumpy is very similar to his tired grumpy :(

We do vary slightly but not by far.

    Same here!

We have breakfast between 7am-7.30am, dinner between 12pm-1pm and tea at 5.30pm. It's just stuck like that since they were little, plus I don't like eating in evenings.

That pizza recipe sounds nice. I might test that at the weekend :D
Here I go again on my own....

This is what I'm thinking, maybe a should set times, it would then help me plan my day better too.

It certainly gave me something to work towards - before I thought about it I was bumbling on and it was getting towards bedtime and I would realise I hadn't given Benjamin his dinner :o

When we were in Greece it was 2 hours ahead of here and we kept the same mealtimes as far as Benjamin was concerned - eating at 10am, 2pm and 7pm. He then went to bed at about 9pm thinking it was 7pm (because it was in the UK) :D

DSS had parents evening tonight - all is good - but then he has only been back for 2 weeks so he hasn't had time to be anything other than good!!

I think it's a bit daft having parents evening so soon after they've gone back. 2 weeks isn't long enough in my eyes for the teacher to have a good grasp of the childs' strengths and weaknesses.

Uh-oh, DH having a coughing fit - he'll think he's dying now *rolleyes*

It doesnt exactly go crispy, but if (like me) you dont like a deep crust its all good! I'm just pleased to have found something else to add to my "I've nothing in for dinner so what can I scrabble together" list!

That Takeaway Secret book is awesome. I've made chicken kebabs, chocolate cheesecake, breakfast pancakes, pizza sauce and southern fried chicken and all were absolutely delicious! Not quite like the real thing, but closer and tastier than having the supermarket equivalent. If anyone wants any recipes let me know and I'll type them up. Theres all kinds, Mcdonalds, KFC, Chinese, curry, etc!

I've just been reading about that book on the OS thread.

I'm trying to get my housework in some sort of order so it doesn't look like a pigsty most of the time!

My ex-employer was a large multinational construction company and the HR manager (a woman) knew nothing about KIT days when I went on maternity leave.

I worked for a government dept. and they still no nothing about KIT days.

OH used to have a website saved which had all takeaway recipies - but we've lost it and can't remember the name.

The Macdonalds Big Mac sauce was quite realistic (although I don't like it anyway!), but the KFC coating wasn't quite right.

Michelle, I think the site is localbargains.co.uk that searches ebay for things within a certain range of you? Or if GISI can find a big enough box... ;) My Stokke came in about seven supermarket boxes strapped and taped together.
    .

Thanks, have posted EVERYWHERE! On mumsnet (cant remember who suggested it but ive never been on before so thank you very much) and even local paper now. GISI- I would offer to buy yours but im guessing you will get a much better price on Ebay. :o

But please keep your ears open for a Jumperoo ladies.

    Get well soon BC.

Michelle - do package turn up? I know KK got hers and i posted them same time, so just wondered....

I got a card through the door today as we went to docs for A's second lot of injections. We were just debating on how we provide I.D for the package (because A is named)... lol DH just gave her the card and said "you need to go and pick your stuff up", she then proceeded to eat the card. :D Just to make sure, hes took a pic of her holding the card! :rotfl: and will be taking her birth cert too. :rotfl:What is he like? Thank you very much though. Excited about it as DH hasnt got a clue what it is. :D

A was in bed for 9pm tonight! She had her jabs and didnt even cry bless her, the nurse did her second leg resulting in A pulling a very sad bottom lip face before giving her a big smile and then conversing with the nurse. :o So proud of my strong likkle babba.

Lets just hope I get to sleep longer than 3 hours in a row as its been at least 2 weeks since that has happened. I am starting to go a little mental due to 6 am wake ups and 3 feeds a night. Not good. :( But I mustnt complain after the "everyhour" evening she had a few days ago! Also been bleeding (sorry tmi) this past week so may have to have extra iron supplements again to keep me going.
