:rotfl: Bexta tuna was out of my budget. I had £20 a week on a good week, lots of porridge and pasta with veg. Not to mention that my first student housing had a kitchen for 30 people and it contained a standard sized fridge, a one-ring hob and a microwave. How are you going to make anything good with that?!

SS, it used to only be about 50c a can!

Right, the beastie seems to have stopped eating, so I'd better get on with bathing her and getting ready. Got the dentist this arvo, but hopefully just need a scale and polish.

Em, we have a brand new boiler that was fitted before we moved in but the oven is so old and i hate it. I want it to break so the LL replaces it lol.
I thought if you had a child in the house you had to have a working boiler? Thats what a gas man told me before.

My little man isn't quite right today :( His temp is 37.3 which is a degree higher than usual and his head feels hot to touch. He just wants to sit and be cuddled which is really unusual! I'm assuming it's a reaction to yesterdays jabs so given him a dose of calpol. We're off to the newbies showing at the cinema in a bit so I'll be able to give him lots of cuddles and hopefully he'll sleep it off

awwww hugs sound perfect. Calpol is a main food stuff in our household ;)

mazcabs - I've only sent in teh Uk - my first thought is interflora but think they might be expensive. Actually - I have sent to Australia before, using flying flowers. HTH

  • Morning.

Just posting a link to this Argos thread. Seems there maybe a 3 for 2 offer on toys from tomorrow for one week. As posted by an Argos employee.

I have reserved 3 items to collect tomorrow. If it is indeed correct.

Maz, interflora is expensive but reliable (I was a florist for years). Don't pick one of the designs out the book, just go for florists choose as you usually get better value that way.

Skiving form college, first class was cancelled so I turned up and nobody was there. Came home read my book and have decided to just have a nice relaxing day to myself. Do feel guilty that Amber is at nursery though. I'll have some lunch and then do some housework and at least I can say it was productive.

The scuttlebug arrived and it's AWESOME! I want to be 1-3 so I can play on it! It's heavier than it looks and seems nice and sturdy. But that is Ambers Christmas almost done. Will get her a little people doll house type thing, a few books and some clothes. She now has a fifi tea set, amazing animals treehouse and her scuttlebug.

    Thanks Tia

I have just found this site through the forum but might pop into my local florist and ask her....
