Did I see right earlier Maz that Henry still has a nap?

Yep, at nursery they still have a nap in his room, think its stops in pre school , his next room. He is the first one asleep and last one up apparently..... just not at home!!!

Lady - you quoted but didnt add anything... did you want recipe?

CAFC - whats OH up to now?

Anyone any idea what I can get T instead of her bouncer, I think she needs to move on. She isnt happy laying back in it and is constantly leaning forward and tries to roll over in it.

A bumbo or some kind of entertainer. Or just a blanket on the floor with some toys...although this is what started my baby off crawling at 5 1/2 months!!!

Have only read this and the last page, but S is another sleepy one. We can keep him awake past 7 if we need/want to but he is particularly whingey if we do! He sleeps through til 6-8am depending on his opinion that particular morning ;) but still has a 2-3 hour nap as well! I too was worried he wasnt getting something nutritionally so I got some vitamin drops which I put in his cereal, but they've made no difference. When he is at the CM he doesnt nap properly and is vile when I pick him up.

Cute thing he's started doing - instead of dancing, he stares transfixed at the tv and then when its finished claps and says Yaaay!

That's good - they are very similar. Benjamin doesn't sleep properly when MIL has him (because she won't put him in his cot for his nap grrr - she lets him sleep on the sofa) because he only ever sleeps for 90 mins and it isn't enough for him.

    Very cute :T:T

LOL - in a few months time when he won't sleep you can all laugh at me!!

Did I see right earlier Maz that Henry still has a nap?

I also worry that he needs so much sleep when V (for example) seems to be phasing out her daytime nap and maybe he is missing out on something (nutritionally or whatever) because he still needs so much sleep :(

V has decided this week that a daytime nap is good again! **confused smiley** Strange girl. As long as her daytime nap isn't too late on, she still goes to bed at 7.30-8.

I really wish i'd done naps in the cot from when she was tiny - I think that would have helped her sleep better. But, naps used to coincide with the school run, so she'd nap in the pram mostly.

My friends LO (10 weeks older than V) is a brilliant napper. She stilll has a good 90 minutes in the morning and afternoon, goes to bed at 7 and my friend has to wake her up in the morning!

L still had naps at nursery until she moved to the pre-school room at almost 3.

    Have fun SJ.

    Armybike beautiful video. :D

    MFD No keys yet. :(

OMG I'm looking at the Guardian Food and they have a feature with student recipes. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall seems to think a student can pay £22 for the ingredients for one meal  that was a weekly budget for me!!

The others aren't much better. The only ones under £5 are meatless, which is fine but then the average is £6.50 for dinner for four!!!

My little man isn't quite right today :( His temp is 37.3 which is a degree higher than usual and his head feels hot to touch. He just wants to sit and be cuddled which is really unusual! I'm assuming it's a reaction to yesterdays jabs so given him a dose of calpol. We're off to the newbies showing at the cinema in a bit so I'll be able to give him lots of cuddles and hopefully he'll sleep it off

my goodness SS! thats a lot - We eat really well in my house and I don't often stretch to a budget that size! Even the heston recipe last night didn't cost me much - and I've enough to make it several times (recipe is deceptive - its for 6 people!).

Armybike, Youtube wont let me view it :(

Morning everyone, having to stay in all day as my AF order is coming and the Gas man to do the safety check should be coming aswell :)

That maths course i was telling you about is on today again, i didn't go and the woman called me to ask why, when i said i felt its not for me and also im dissapointed that there is no qualification at the end like i was told. She started saying that she understands im more confident than the others and maybe i should go to her other class which is 10weeks long.

I said i cant and she has said that she is going to send me all the info...
Im sure she'll call me again to ask why im not going to that one.

Edit: I tried to sign upto Swagbucks but it wont let me :(

Oooh EA, dont speak to me about safety checks  the gas man that did ours turned our cooker off and has just been back to connect our new one and decided we have a gas leak from the mains, shut the lot off and left us with no cooker or hot water while we wait for someone from the mains board to come and fix it. Hope yours goes better :(

SS, those are crazy prices! Who pays that much for one meal? I lived off 2 minute noodles and tuna cheese toasties at uni.

Gill, hope poor little T is feeling better soon.

EA, we've got an AF order coming today too, hopefully between 12.40 and 1.40.
