well, i have a new job if i want it.

it's a complete change of career in that is not in my current profession, but still using my admin skills etc and they came looking for me, after i might an enquiry over a month ago when they were advertising. that person didn't work out so they thought of me (even though they had 200 applicants apparently - i didn't even apply, i made the enquiry after they had filled the position).

my current place have given me loads of grief over going home for christmas but finally agreed, but things have got so bad i am really not happy at all there.

just need to make the final decision to leave, and then try to write my resignation letter, hoping they will let me go sooner rather than later

eeek .. all very scary for me.

as for your sleep situation with B i can't offer any help, other than maybe it's a growth spurt. he is very active isn't he so maybe just really tires himself out. i know it's so hard to come home and have to start bed times so soon, i dont like that either

They have been pigs to you for ages! As long as the new place is signed up to you going home for Christmas then do it!

yep, new place are letting me go for 5 weeks .. i was originally booking 6, but compromised if i take the job.

ta, will be in touch if i cant get the letter right tomorrow.

Som - I'll let you know. They said they're being sent out in the next 7 days. I just sent an email so I would say it's worth doing. I stressed that I wouldn't have bought the other books if it hadn't been for the free incentive.

Hello Armybike - lovely video. Isabelle is very cute

MFD - I think some people just need more sleep than others. I can survive quite happily on 5 hours sleep a night and function normally (altho getting up kills me!) while I have friends who physically cannot function without their 8 hours.

I forgot to say earlier (very forgetful today!) We have applied for some blank cards for the Blue Peter Appeal this year. They send you some blank cards, you decorate them to make fabulous Christmas cards then send them back and they'll be sold in Tescos - how cool! Its all for Whizz Kids charity. The thing I found funniest was that they have an area for prams to be parked and left, only someone moved a table into it and there were loads of people drinking there instead.

So poor Molly finally had her MMR yesterday and it was a nightmare. We planned it for 9.15 so we'd go there with Molly dosed up on Calpol, she'd have the shot and go down for her nap after an hour so she'd sleep quite well. Instead they yelled at us for not bringing the vaccine with us :eek: Apparently we were supposed to know to go to the pharmacy and buy it. But they didn't have it in stock and had to order it, so we told them we'd be back at 12 with it. Went back at 12 and they were leaving for lunch. We had guests and had planned to go out for lunch and stay out all afternoon to take Molly to the Oktoberfest before it got too busy :mad: She eventually got the shot at 2:30 and we had to go find our guests. She seems ok, a bit hot in the head this morning but still sleeping soundly. Should I keep her dosed on Calpol or leave it?

Oh, she would love that. That reminds me, we were doing wheelbarrow races in the park the other day. And yesterday there were some bigger kids and one of them was walking on her hands, so Izzy was trying to copy :rotfl:.
