Question re feeds on hols we are going to the lakes in two weeks and i am all confused about what to do with elliots bottles, how will I sterilise them?? And how will i heat his milk up without a microwave?? Someone suggested making his bottles up like normal minus a oz of water then when he wants a bottle boil kettle and add the oz of water and it should make it warm for him??

The main issue is i don't know how to sterilise his bottles
    hi lovely :)

I didn't think we needed to sterilise after 6 months, I was quite looking forward to sunday for that very reason!

Edit: nope just googled, and the guidance is a year! Booo!
But if you'd still like to, how about sterilising tablets?

Great for travelling and effective after 20 mins and you can do loads of bottles at a time

  • Morning All,

I can refer people to the survey site that shall not be named (the one that pays £3 a survey) pm me your email address or send me it on fb and I'll forward you the email, 2nd moneysaving post in two days, go me!

Weezl, the sterilising thing is 12 months but I must admit once Millie was crawling around eating dirt I couldn't see the point so I gave up, that was long before 12 months so the end is in sight!

What's the difference between the Britax Eclipse and First Class anyway? I want it to recline, and be comfy :p Eclipse is cheaper and they both look the same to me.

Charlotte has an Eclipse and it's been fine. Would recommend it.

The main issue is i don't know how to sterilise his bottles

I used cold water sterilising tablets in the bathroom sink when we've been on holiday with baby bottles. It worked fine

Had a strange dream where we all met up and I was teaching everyone how to make Yorkshire puddings - !!!!!!?! :rotfl:

Have a good day all xx

Susan, I don't generally compare my armpits, but it was one of those things where you catch a whiff of yourself and can't help but have a sniff :o
I will admit to having smelled mine - I've just never thought to consider it in so much detail as to compare them.

  • Good morning people,

Im guessing A had the same idea as E- feed at 12 and then up at 3:30am, then refused to go back to sleep! So I put her in with us but still no sleeping, just lots of fidgeting and eating. When she was asleep before 12 though, she was kind of sobbing in her sleep (she was def asleep) and then suddenly laughing really loudly? Im guessing thats something to do with the development of her brain?

I just hope she decides to have a nap soon. I am sooooooooooooo tired. :( I hate being miserable!

kindof - use cold water sterilising tablets. £1 for a box usually ;)

How do they work? I initally thought of them and thought I could fill the sink up and use them but then my friend says they have to be in a container with a lid and something to press the bottles down?

Weezle I know I was so excited cos I thought it was 6 months as well, but boo its a year lol

I have to say the last two nights conversations have been funny. Cervix and wiffy arm pits! It is beyond me how anyone would be scared to come and post in here. Its hilarious. And tomorrows topic will be?
They probably just think we're a bunch of weirdos.
