Sami I did have a look at your previous posts but can't see what you posted about "H"

Is he hitting Chris again? I do think boys are more likely to lash out with fists (well just my experience in the nursery environment anyways) ...snipped...
1st thing was on thurs last week, H stabbed him in the face with a fork then yesterday he bit Chris on the shoulder/back, there were clear marks of 2 top teeth and a big red scratched looking patch underneath for about 2hrs from when it happened.

speaking of which I had better go get him!

SS the programme was quite dusty for me but in many ways we on here are very lucky, because the most worrying part on the whole thing is where andrew has the scan, and we are really lucky because we know how it all turns out.

I think for me it was seeing the women immediately fall in love with their babies (not something I felt in that way) and also the way in which the homebirth mum handled her pain and fear so much better than me. Eerily (SJ did you feel this too?!) she had the same pool as alfie and kessie had so it felt all the more massively direct a comparison.

I think you will find it poignant, but there are all happy outcomes IYSWIM?

I did notice that it was our pool, but to be honest the thing about that birth that got me was that she had the perfect birth I had planned, and I didn't :( She could pretty much have been me up to the baby aririving to be honest as I feel as though I handled the pain well up until the point I decided to transfer in, then it went quickly downhill!

On a brighter note, I have Christmas cakes in the oven!

I really like the system they have at A's school in her reception class. They have two 'toilet bears', one girl and one boy. If they really HAVE to go to the loo, they are meant to just quietly get up and get the bear, take it to the toilet and leave it outside the door until they have finished, come back in and return the bear. That way they deal with it without disturbing the class or needing to get embarrassed.
Also very cunning way of ensuring that lots of children don't go and mess around together in the toilets. I remember doing that right from Reception through to Year Five.

  • Ah, maternal guilt took over and I rang the reception monkeys... She doesn't have a place in the art club... I would like to know what the criteria was because I couldn't have got the form in any quicker! (It probably sat on someones desk for 3 days...)

Anyway, need to go and fetch her, and Caitlyn's woken in a rotten mood so maybe a blow of fresh air might cheer her up...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I feel that way about just about everyone who didn't end up traumatised by their experience of birth :(

But I envy your Christmas cakes. I'm considering making a couple of small ones but my mincemeat won't arrive till tomorrow with my Very Best Friend :j:j:j:j:j

  • hmm... well, DH has just managed to get permission to start late from January (when I go back to work), so he can take A to school, now I need to persuade my new boss (and probably HR) to let me start early - which they probably will as they are flexible, and let me take 30 mins lunch instead of an hour (I think HR may well say NO :() so that I can leave early to pick her up from school. I've arranged to go and talk to my new boss next Wed, so fingers crossed!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

:rotfl: When I read that, it made me think of that woman on Tigs' programme who was training her dog on how to behave with a baby.

But based on anecdotal eveidence, I'm sure she will be fine with the new baby.

:rotfl: That woman was funny! At the moment Lily is ignoring the doll after throwing it across the room... :rotfl:

Kindof, ((hugs)) what do you think caused the pain?

Weezl, i didn't feel the rush of love. All i could think was "Owww, that hurt quite a bit. Oh and theres my hairy baby" :rotfl:

Although i loved her, i didn't feel that massive rush of love for about a week i think. I wonder if i'll love this next one sooner? :D

SJ, have you used all of your Approved Foods icing yet? :D

I still have loads, im planning on making my mum an anniversry cake :)

Well im sat at home very annoyed, i walked all the way into town and im very tired. When i got there i discovered i left my purse at home :(
So i couldn't post my ebay stuff, they will have to wait until tomorrow
  • Fingers crossed Redstar, and good luck tonight AF.

My house smells like Christmas, which is a bit odd.

EA, no, it will take me quite some time to use my body weight of icing!!

Sugar I'm sorry you still feel that way :( Are you still having the counselling?

Weezl, I didn't feel the rush of love either. I quite liked her, but that was it. I nearly jumped out the pool exclaiming loudly 'What the hell was that?' when she actually popped out, which OH finds hysterical still.
