BM if Mitchum's not doing it for you I don't know what to suggest, I use that cause I can get a bit stinky at times :o

Thank you all for your lovely comments, I'm a bit :o now cause I'm just watching Cherry has a baby and seeing Tigs' experience has made my eyes all dusty. I'm glad I know how it ends.

Hard to say how much he eats really- probably half a bowl of porridge and maybe a slice of toast too for breakfast, a sandwich or roll with cucumber sticks and a yogurt for lunch and probably about 1/3 to 1/4 of an adult portion of whatever we're having for tea followed by some cut up fruit. Snacks are generally a couple of baby biscuit or some fruit or veg sticks.

    Evening all,

Happy birthday Elliot, Kian and Charlotte! :D Pardon my confusion, but who does Reece belong to? :o (Claire's Reece was born three days before my Rhys )

:A and :grouphug: for PP, PP1, Michelle and Sami/Chris :)
.. Also, where is Glam? Sami have you spoken to her recently?

.. a little birdie of mine txt her the other day but AFAIK there was no response :(

*tweet* ;) I did get a reply, yesterday (sorry Sami, forgot to tell you!). Glam is mega busy "no time to sit down, let alone post!" :( J is keeping her on her toes, walking everywhere but also being very clingy.

ahh well, hopefully someone else will do as good an offer *crosses fingers* Thank you for checking for me :kisses3:

No joy in one; still summoning the energy to go to the other ;) (ETA: Now I've re-read your quote I've realised you weren't meaning "the someone else who offered to look for me", oops! But I did offer and I did look! :D)

Busy day for us here.. at the grand old age of 16mths (tomorrow), I've finally started feeling comfortable enough to take Rhys supermarket shopping alone. I don't know why, it was just a big "thing" of mine, but now we're okay with it, there's no stopping us :D Been to Tesco for a spree today, then to the hospital (eye appointment, might need an op in both eyes, ick! :() and then to visit pregnant friend :)

    Hope everyone is well xx

Buttons, do you have some bicarb? It stops stinky pits really well. For something nicer, Lush do it in a bar mixed with scented oils, which is what I have.

BM - I've been really stinky since having T. I've just changed from amplex to sure 24hr and it's sorted me out completely. It stings when I put it on tho!

ETA when I went to the 'weaning party' the HV told us that when the babies are on three meals they should ideally only be having milk first thing and in the evening, with possibly a feed middle of the day. She gave us a maximum amount of dairy that they should have (including yoghurts and food made with milk) but I'd need to look it up in the leaflets

Gill, glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was going nuts - mine have been stinky since having Sophie. Weirdly, the right one is always whiffier

Question: Where am I likely to find funky big (big big big!) pants? My friend is most likely having a section (the lowest twin is feet first, kicking the door to get out already and she's only just 34wks ) so I wanted to get her some big pants but possibly more funky than the, perfectly practical but not my usual style, pale pink numbers my mum got me from BHS.. :o Looked in Tesco today - they have every style in funky colours apart from the big pants which were pastels  Perhaps grannies don't "do" funky... :p

sorry didn't mean to offend any only childy families, I just meant that if We hadn't had Edgar, Chris may have only now been learning these limits so I can understand that other children aren't there yet (and that others are too)
I'm not offended but I do think it's unfair stereotyping to suggest that being an only child is a reason for not knowing how to behave towards other children. I can't understand why any child wouldn't have spent plenty of time with people in general and children their own age in particular before the age of three regardless of whether they have siblings or not. I do appreciate though that you weren't intending it as any kind of insult to people with only children and were just thinking out loud as to possible reasons for this child's behaviour - I just felt that if I didn't say anything it would be agreeing.

I was talking to my friend and she had the same problem so it must be a hormone thing. I was having a shower in the morning, then taking T for a walk....and I'd be stinking after the walk! I've used amplex for years (and did sometimes omit the morning shower :o) and never had a problem until now! Crazy lol
