I dont think any of the larger Star Wars items were put out for this offer. My store is a large store, we went late last night, there was place for the larger Star Wars items.
We wouldn't have know about the AT-AT had it not been for the member of staff telling us. I think the day staff were quite peeved with the night staff too! Hubby was shown the store delivery record for the 2x AT-AT's too.
As you said, I don't think they had the larger Lego Star Wars sets though.
AM now scouring the tinternet for my items elsewhere!0 -

I got the primrose windmill last night, but dd has gone mad for the big one for the past couple months.. i just cant justify paying £70 when i know its got to be half price in one of their stores lol.Gotta love a bargain :j0 -
are these items usually available in your local store? if not, then the likelihood of them being there today is very low
ive got quite a big sainsburys near me, and ive never seen those in my local ever, so wouldnt have expected them to be there today. i dont think the instore sale is a con, seeing as all the toys are half price

I know some bits I wanted aren't usually, but I know some stuff did come in. There is loads & loads of stuff that they never had before & some of the usuals seem to be missing.( I know every inch of my Sainsburys! How very sad!)0 -

has it ever been available instore tho? its quite a big box, and would just take up too much shelf space to be an everyday item, and as it isnt in the sale online, i doubt it would be brought into stores as a special just for today

This isn't aimed at whoever's post it ends up below. Just a general opinion.
Well, speaking on behalf of those who need physical assistance to go shopping in store, the general answer would be "went without" or "suffered the indignity of having to beg a favour yet again"...Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
