I might of thought the same six months ago, but for the last six months i have been seriously ill. i cannot go instore, only left my home a handful of times in the last six months. All some people have is the internet. Maybe a thought for them at this time of year would not go a miss. This is not a dig or anything at anyone, i am not that way inclined. But you do not appreciate your health or fitness until its taken away from you. I was never an internet shopper until this year. I have always gone to the store with my kids in tow every year. I only wish i could this year.

Awww sim I was thinking of you last night when I saw how rubbish the online sale was.

    Did you get anything online?

I'm off to my local one in a min to get some shopping - might have a quick look at the toy aisle but its probably empty by now

Will update when I get back . Its St albans btw
  • Well that was a waste, I went to my local Ipswich store at 8 (earliest I could get hubby out of bed) and most was gone! I was walking around trying to find any hidden gems, when my husband had enough and was just walking off when the staff came to refill!
It was mad they were opening boxes and people were sticking there hands up in the air to get the toys .
Managed to get a few items but nothing off of my online list. Pretty disapointed really, I am sure if I could have stayed a while longer I would have grabed some bargains, however as they say...that's life! :(

Got half of what I wanted last night online, (baby giggling doll, buggy set, kitchen), and most of the other half in store this morning, kung zhu hamster stuff, screacher dinosaur thing.....

Christmas shopping all but done now.

Oh, and harry potter 20 q, electronic game, was labelled up at 34p half price, but scanned at 69p. Didn't have the time or the inclination to get the correct price.

I've been to our two local sainsbury's - are we naming names? They are in the bedford area. The big one was busy, got a few bits of lego and the blue sylvanians car. Thought i'd chance my arm and go to the smaller sainsbury's and I was the only one there, it was dead! They had more sylvanians so got the postman, kerry's new pram set, meerkat family, also got a rubiks cube, atlantis lego. Am actually quite annoyed at sainsbury's because they sell a little sylvanians sainsbury's grocery set and that has been £9.99 for ages, I think it is even that price in the gift book but it is saying £8.49 half price today?

I got to the bigger one before 7am and it was pretty quiet but did get a bit busier whilst I was there!

    Em xXx
