I understand you are frustrated but some of what you said is really harsh!

I haven't read all the posts so I don't know if what you have said is directed at one person in particular, so I may have missed something.

none of this is directed at anyone in particular just how the thread sounds to me after reading it from about page 95 or so. I'm much more of a casual MSE'r.

Surprisingly I'm not actually frustrated I'm very accepting of our circumstances we have a couple of boys and can't afford more than about £80-90 on them each. the idea of a half price sale is nice but 'buries or anyone else is under no obligation to sell toys at that price.

    I did like GingerPoodle's post btw -

My husband has just been to Darnley in Glasgow. Apparently quite quiet, but a fairly limited selection. There were a few people stuffing piles of Lego into their trolleys, so wouldnt rush there if that is what you are after...

it seems useful and informative even though I don't live in Glasgow, if I did it would tell me what I needed to know.

Where is the option to click and collect?

The fireman sam set is still online to click and collect, if you haven't seen it already.

Thanks for the post but it was the deluxe playset I was after and that's still £29.99 online. Thanks for taking the time though.

Has anyone been to the Colchester Stanwat store or Bury St Edmunds store please?

Is it worth dragging my 3 kids (3 years and under!!!!!!) up there, dont want a wasted journey.

    Thanks Nina x

been to stanway - was busy at 7am and stuff was flying off the shelves, but they do restock throughout the day, so it might be worth a try

  • What did people do before internet shopping? It seems that it is a travesty if offers aren't available online. 15 years ago you would have just had to get off your backside and go to the shop.

This isn't aimed at whoever's post it ends up below. Just a general opinion.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.
  • I'm heading down to Savacentre Edinburgh soon, I'll report back on stock levels & general availability when I get back. What's the betting they don't have the vtech camera?! Good luck to everyone!
