Business Account - reclaiming bank charges

Hi can anyone tell me if you can claim on a bussiness accounts
Wehave been charged just for banking a cheque
anyone know I would really appreciate it
You cannot claim for charges for depositing cheques, cash or any transfers, or for overdraft arrangement fees, as these are services provided by the bank. You can claim any fees added for exceeding your overdraft limit or for fees added for returned items, such as cheques and direct/debits and yes you can claim for charges, on a business account. I have just had an offer from HBOS on my business account.

I'm considering reclaiming charges on my business account but dont know how to go about it. Is it the same procedure as claiming on current account?0
-
Yes, I used excactly the same template letters for both business and personal accounts. I went through the same process and had offers on both.

Hi, I have scoured the forum but cannot find anything on here relating to my query. I am hoping to claim charges back from RBS for a business account. The charges are in the region of £15,000 over 5 years. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with claiming business charges back from RBS?
Thanks.0 -

PS It doesn't matter which bank it is with, I have read a few success stories, with diff. banks. Also I didn't use any diff. wording, they will try and fob you off, saying the t/c etc. are different. I used the same template letters for both my business and personal accounts.0 -
Thanks for that.
Has anyone claimed for such a large amount (and won!)?0 -

Can't quite remember where, but someone just the other day, won £10.000+ and had asked for £12.000. It's worth a try, (Have a look in the success stories)

Hi,
Can anyone advise me please. I have spoken to the Office of fair trading & The F.S.A, but am still a little confused!!.
I have a business account & have been hit by over £30,000.00 in last 3 years for bank charges
I beleive that this 'Testcase' is for all PERSONAL accounts. Am I, therefore, able to persue re-payment of my business bank charges?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated,
Many thanks,
