Only asa last option . I have tried F2 and have come up with some options so chose the boot order. It was a bit confusing as when I used the plus and minus keys it didnt allow me to change the order but now i am faced with Boot from hard drive, dos programs, mini windows xp,dariks boot and nuke, kon boot, offline password changer, smart boot manager, windows memory diagnostic

You need to choose; Mini Windows XP and from there; HBCD Menu. Can you access your C: drive from there?

Actually I changed my mind about using ComboFix as the first line of attack, simply because I haven't tested it's use from HBCD.

Hopefully a more straightforward option will be the Kaspersky Rescue Disc. Download and save, then burn this to disc as you did before using Roxio and Boot from CD as you did before. You should get the option to update the Virus database and to run a scan of the Disc Boot Sectors/Startup Objects/C: drive.

    Here are some Screenshots.

Im not having much success. The cd loads and when I choose the option to boot from cd it starts and then cuts out and we are back to the blue screen. I have looked at your screen shots but i havent had anything like that.

Go back to Hiren's Boot CD to see if you can boot into Mini XP.
