You're right Karma, not the best combination but I am not ignoring it.

Had another busy day and just having 20 minutes with a coffee before the school run. I have finished all the painting upstairs (minus two doors which I plan to start tonight and finish tomorrow). Thought I was done at one point today and was happily removing my masking tape when I spotted the hall still needed doing. Anyway that is done now apart from one architrave I seem to have missed. Have put on masking tape ready for later/tomorrow but for now I am done!

Had another parcel delivery (I really need to start wrapping and hiding presents!!) this morning, dog walked, house okayish (won't be immaculate whilst decorating), load of washing done and in process of drying. Some money shuffling done and stoozing card paid following recent spends. Have a fairly large expense expected for one of dd's requested presents but as it's out of stock I'm not worrying too much about paying for it just yet!

Starting to wish I'd spent the day reading and napping!

    Thanks debtfree.

Another busy 'day off'. 2 coats of paint on 2 doors and finished off necessary woodwork. Dog walked around the park for 40 minutes. Have done some more Christma8 shopping (some more prints which I will frame) from local business. £5.80 overpayment from CB and a Tilly tidy. Also overpaid the £13 made from selling things on fb last weekend as it was at risk of being frittered. Frittering I do not do, anyway those overpayments knocked another month off.

Having a sit down for 20 minutes and then I'll try and get final coat done before the school run.

Another busy day which absolutely flew by. Full day at work and then home to more painting. It's never ending! Have moved onto mirror frames now and almost did the one in the hall but then realised the lounge door would look odd so stopped myself! So much work to do over the next few days emptying the rooms but it will absolutely be worth it.

50 points on y0ugov, couple of top up shops which need adding to running total, should be well under £250 for supermarket spends which is great.

    Early night needed!!!

Thanks newgirly, it's an area which we can control the spends!

Finally sitting down, busyish morning, reorganising upstairs after carpet fitting yesterday, more to do but looking good so far. Kitchen tidied and cleaned, the breakfast bar attracts clutter! Two loads of washing down, second load is drying. Popped some in the tumble drier just to get it out of the way! Speaking of energy use, had our recent bill through which is fine but only going into the Winter months with around £80 credit so fully expecting direct debit to increase at some point. Fortunately it's been relatively mild but who knows what kind of Winter 2020 is going to bring!

Dog walked for an hour, murky and drizzly out there today but the park still looked pretty and lots of people out walking. Dh is just doing the second skip run to take the old carpets as they had all just been dumped in front garden which didn't match up with my Christmas lights!

38p Tilly tidy and list of jobs made, some finance/Christmas/2021 related.

Going to try and relax with my book for a little bit now....
