Thanks both, consistency is key for us but still trying to strike the balance between building up the emergency fund and overpayments. I don't get quite the same satisfaction watching the savings go up!

Slightly productive day, full day at work 88p Tilly today and sold an item in 3bay so will get it posted tomorrow. Small top up shop of £3.50 to keep us going until dh does a proper shop tomorrow. I could not face going to the supermarket after work!!

Fingers crossed we win PB tomorrow but if not the plan is to transfer some of it to the n@tionwide bond. Happy to tie up some of the money and keep access to the other pot if needed.

Haven't really made any plans for November and the 'rest of the year plan' didn't happen either! But I would like the Christmas shopping to be finished ASAP. Just waiting on some deliveries this week and then will get funds transferred over as we get closer to payday.

Hope everyone staying safe and feeling ok in these crazy times.

    November spends

    Supermarket £65.41
    Fuel £48
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

I'm also assuming I'll win the next million pound PB   as for shopping, I think it'll be via Amazon - I've just seen how they deliver "gift" parcels, and the packaging is really rather nice.  Or Boots.  Dunno, really, but it will all be online, thats for sure.
Congratulations on the extra month off the mortgage :)

Well I didn’t get the PB jackpot. Hopefully one of you two did!  😂

    Always next time!

Online shopping definitely the way forward although it does mean I'm spending money a little too easily!

Well the Christmas parcels are starting to arrive! Sadly one of my candles was broken (absolutely not the sellers fault) as was very well packaged but not sure how or if I can raise it with delivery company? I think it's salvageable to use very carefully!

Payday for dh so various accounts topped up and £37.90 sent to mortgage. I'll update the spreadsheet over the weekend as that will make a difference in terms of knocking a month off. Emptied account yesterday to stoozing card to offset some of the Christmas spends.

A quiet weekend planned (pretty much standard for us) but dh is also working. Bedrooms have been put back together after having their chalk paint makeover and look great. Just need to order the new carpets, we've chosen the colour so are good to go!

  • December payout on PB will be much better, I’m happy to wait one more month. 😂
