It was lovely Apple and much needed. Must have recharged enough to find some energy as went for another family walk on Sunday and the weather was stunning. I do think that may have been our last opportunity for a while as weather looks set to change by next weekend. Really noticing the nights drawing in tonight so trying to make the most of some good dog walks after work too.

One day left until payday, £2.45 current account Cashback landed so have overpaid that today meaning our OP's are nearly at £100 this month without too much sacrifice or effort but definitely consistent Tilly tidies. Hoping to boost the savings when Dh gets paid although making another OP is very tempting!

    September spends

    supermarket £261.74
    fuel £132
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

This week is really dragging! Maybe I will get to Friday and look back and think it went quickly. We are back in local lockdown which although doesn't massively impact our lives (we're mostly happy at home), it's that wider knowledge that the situation is escalating again.
DH has had his final wage from previous job and first wage from new one so lots of money shuffling happening! Paid the 0% cc's today and sent some more to our stoozing card as spends have crept up (both childrens' birthdays within 2 weeks of each other). Will pay some more off at the weekend once I know where our general spends are up to. Also sent £1200 to PB this morning so a win would be nice and would top the savings up nicely!
£55 overpayment made, knocking off another month isn't too far away at all

    Thanks both.

£1.30 overpaid from tcb this morning and rounded current account down so another £9.30 overpaid. I do need to send some money to the stoozing card too so will work out what to send - not easy when you just want to send it to the mortgage!

Thinking of an end of year challenge so may consult the spreadsheets for some ideas and motivation!

Little to no planing progress over here. It's been a bit of a strange week with us all isolating as ds had a cough and had a test, thankfully it was negative. DH has already had a pay rise in new job with another expected towards the end of the month as they have shortened his probationary period. It has very much been a week of two halves! I'm in my normal role too which is great especially as dh's working hours have completely changed!

Still adjusting to weekly pay and wondering what to do with the spare cash which I appreciate is a welcome dilemma. Tpday I have sent £150 to stoozing card which has crept up a bit, £200 to a 0% card ending next Summer, £100 to PB (still awaiting our first win) and £40 to the mortgage. Managed to knock another month off there which helps with the motivation.

Hopefully I will be back with some plans/goals for what is left of 2020!
