Thanks greent, I know! No wonder ds doesn't stop eating!!
The days seem to be flying again and that's without the chaos of many after school activities etc. Overpaid £35 yesterday which knocked another month off!! I do love those milestones.Have made the most of the glorious weather, line dried lots of washing and new plants all potted up.
Have a busy couple of weeks ahead in terms of various appointments which are all on the chalkboard in the kitchen without which I would be lost! Some money shuffling required now to see us through until payday, plenty left so hopefully another OP can be made next week. Not much happening, will quietly plod.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!6 -
The weekend is so close. I feel like my feet have barely touched the floor this week and I'm really not sure what's happened to my evenings. I was so busy today I had to water the garden in the dark as it wouldn't have lasted another day without it!Hoping to get on top of things over the weekend and then adjust to DH new working hours next week. Going to love his 4 days off but maybe not his 4 days on! Overall it's going to be so much better for us all though.Couples of Tilly tidies today, £2.37 from tcb then £2.05 from a survey site. We also seem to be having an expensive end to the month so a bit of money shuffling /stoozing happening which will all balance out on payday. We've had a couple of 3bay purchases recently and I had my hair done which was £40 (well overdue). Hoping October is a slightly cheaper month!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!3

Thanks Newgirly, one shift left in his current job then he start. Think he (and I) are already looking forward to his 4 days off next week.Looking forward to payday next week too and we have had an expensive month! Have stoozed a bit on the cc so that need correcting on payday. DH's 'free wage' as going from monthly to weekly play is going to come in very handy.Had some regular invites to y0ugov surveys this week and being offered another survey straight after finishing one which is good. Hopefully it won't take almost 2 years to get to payout again. We are celebrating dd birthday this weekend some bought some yummy M&S food including a couple of their takeaway boxes. Also managed to get quite a bit of yellow sticker items at 90% off which was great. Haven't done that since pre-lockdown!Dh is off to Ik3a today with dd, I don't envy them at all and am simply providing him with a list of what I would like! I'm hoping to catch up on jobs at home whilst they're out so then we can relax and continue with birthday celebrations.

It never quite lives up to expectation does it. However Dh got what dd wanted and all the plants I requested.Enjoyed a lovely weekend celebrating dd birthday, yummy food, good walk with friends and we had birthday cake in the woods next to a waterfall.Food shopping lasting well, takeaway box stretched to an extra couple of meals and I made a soup with the cheap yellow sticker veg.Busy day today and already feel a bit drained, lots of the working week left. I think it's a mixture of actually being busy, job changes, nights drawing in and general uncertainty over what the next few months will bring. I do think getting some more chalk paint to makeover dd bedroom furniture might be a good idea though.
£1 earned on y0ugov yesterday and it's almost payday!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!4 -

Thank you, a bit too cold to be sitting outside for too long this weekend!!Debtfree I've planted cyclamen and pansies but they're not looking too happy. Have been harvesting sweet pea pods for the seeds and was hoping the snapdragons would be ready too. Tried to get some seeds from them earlier but it didn't happen like in the y0utub3 video I watched so maybe they're not ready. More research is needed, they're so pretty and I'm lucky to have had so many self seed but would rather have them elsewhere in the garden so I can see and appreciate them more. Two loads of washing line dried and finished off in tumblr drier, car hoovered (by Dh), shower room deep cleaned and the dog has had some extra long walks. We're having m*s takeaway box for dinner again tonight as it feels like a treat and have some yellow sticker dessert.More budgeting done to try and maximise dh's last monthly wage and am hoping to divert some straight to savings. This evening I plan to stay warm and cosy, finish my book, watch a film and maybe have a glass of bail3ys!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!7
