I roped dd into cleaning the upstairs bathroom, she is improving with practice!

I have a feeling this week is going to fly by and although I'm making some progress with Christmas shopping, I want to feel more organised. I finally have all the bought presents in one place in the house which is a start!

Had some craft items delivered today, one is for my secret Santa and the other is the children's annual new personalised tree decs. Really pleased with all the items and it's nice to support a couple of small businesses.

£2.10 Tilly today yesterday which was a mix of account tidy up and some survey money. Dh has had his payslip and I'm tempted to send the relevant OP now as I suspect it will knock off another month!

    November spends

    Supermarket £145.63
    Fuel £58

    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

Another day of making our money work hard for us. NSD and have emptied the account in preparation for payday (won't need to send an OP from the wages just yet.
So of the £95 left, £25 to PB, £28 to stoozing cc and £42 to mortgage. That £42 has knocked another month off!!

More money savings, swapped some curtains around and found the perfect pair for ds bedroom and now won't need to buy new. Bonus is that it's one less thing to store too. Just need to put a pair back up in spare room and then wash then donate old pair. Decluttering and moneysaving!!

Frame arrived for one of the christmas prints which I may have framed and left in place! It's only temporary until it finds its pride of place. I am in the process of removing 'everyday' decorations to make space and full on Christmas is just a matter of time!!

Completely shattered this evening, roll on the weekend!

£38.10 mortgage overpayment which was rounding the wages down and I've also sent £5 which appeared in the account today (Hally reward).

    £17.25 top up shop.

Have doubled up my n3ctar points. A really disappointing amount but in fairness we have barely shopped there!

amaz0n parcel has also arrived this evening so the present pile is building nicely!!

I am predicting a very very early night!!

I'm just trying to get in a habit of splitting spare funds debtfree otherwise I send everything over to the mortgage. It does add up nicely though sending £25 here and there.
Popped to Mr S to use double up vouchers and got a bonus voucher as part of shopping meaning after a couple of careful but needed purchases I was able to request another £10 voucher. I just need to brave the queues going back and it's definitely a weekday job!

Weather is dreadful here this morning, dh is at work and I have set myself another painting project. Carpetsare being fitted in two weeks so I need to get cracking. I do love putting extra pressure on myself. Carpet a big job, 3 bedrooms, dining room and hall stairs and landing. I am making sure I am at work when they are fitted!

Aside from painting I am hoping for a rather chilled Sunday, sooner I get cracking the sooner I can relax.
