Our clematis has gone mad this year, flower buds all over it already and it's growing like a weed, but we have a fern that has yet to do anything and it's usually strong,  strange isn't it!
You shouldn't be having to do work with them at home - but I understand school won't push them too far as otherwise kids will be at different places learning wise I guess!
Well done on the supermarket spends!

Thanks Newgirly and debtfree. Trying to keep control of food spends as much as possible and will be happy with monthly spends of £250 although if I break that down to a weekly average it seems too high!

Garden looking better with some colour from the new bedding plants and I'm hoping to enjoy some sun sitting in the garden after a busy week. Let's hope the warm weather sticks around a bit longer!

69p Tilly today this morning, stoozing payment with a little extra sent to cc, normal OP to mortgage 1 £403 sent too. Our income thankfully has been unaffected but we are still both working full time so am grateful for that in these uncertain times.

Plan for today is more up cycling chalk paint this time tackling outdoor cushions. Really hoping they turn out as expected! Just need to give them a clean and let them dry in the sun before I attempt painting this afternoon. Other than that I plan to read and just relax. May mow the lawns if I'm feeling particularly productive too!

Also need to buy some hair clippers and attempt some lockdown haircuts for Dh and ds.
I don't see this going too well!!

    fuel £0!!!!

We also need to get some clippers - 4 males in this house with (usually) very short hair side and backs and length on top - s'all getting a bit messy..... (add to that, DS1 has growing out bleach and turquoise on his (very dark brown) hair...) - I think I've found a set on Amaz0n I quite like the look of - that + Yootoob may be the way to go! :D

I figure with man hair, it grows back pretty quickly.  I do DH and DS and they look ok!  One length all over, can't really go wrong!  Hope you've had a nice weekend!
