    Trying to reduce it mfd.

What a brilliant initiative that is PF, unfortunately not in our area but thank you for letting me know about it.

I do believe the rain has finally stopped. We actually have some sunshine breaking through the clouds!

525 divided by 6 (weeks), divided by 2 (children), divided by 5 (days per week) = £8.75 per child per day.

It's not 'that much', but it does all add up. Good luck with reducing it. And remember to look back and see how far your mind has shifted from when you paid that just for 1 child every month. :D

Absolutely Apple, it doesn't all need to come out of one payday either. We are doing really financially for the stage of the month which is good, probably helped by being out of the country for one week after payday! I might put some money to one side towards childcare and also pay some off dd's school trip as apparently an online system has been set up to do so.

Food shop yesterday to see us through the weekend. Wasn't too extravagant but did include wine. I had 2 large glasses but didn't really enjoy it so might give it up again.

Having a morning off the gym as feeling really fatigued this week. Will try and get out for a walk with the children later if it stays dry. I'm currently debating whether to hang a load of washing out, have another in the machine and plenty more to go on! It's dry out there but clouds look threatening.

Have spent some time this morning selecting some photos to frame for dh for tomorrow so need to pop out for those. Am hoping to finally start handing pictures in the hall going up the stairs so this will help. Will do homemade cards with the children later aswell.

Have you looked at sa1nsburys active schools summer programme. Don't know if there are any near you but £7.50 a day including lunch. Can use nectar points too if you have any.

I didn't know about this either, it sounds brilliant. Unfortunately, there's none near me either. Absolutely gutted about that. We have to pay £25 per day for ours. Fortunately, we've worked it that we only need childcare for the eldest for 1 - 2 days per week. The youngest will stay with Grandma for now.

Thanks dfod, it was fairly quiet apart from going out for a family walk yesterday, but it was just nice to be at home. Housework done between us and I hung some pictures in the hall going up the stairs to start off another 'memory wall'

Not much happening in terms of slaying the mortgage but have sent a 55p Tilly tidy today. Just need to do tcb daily clicks and my efforts for today are done. £10 also spent today on a piano book for dd (she has just passed her grade one and we are super proud of her). Predicted spends tomorrow will include fuel, fruit and milk but budgets are looking good and payday only a few days away.

Thanks debtfree, the main ones I have found (sure there are more) are icel0lly.com and tr@velsupermarket.

Feeling so drained at the moment. Fell asleep after work yesterday and again today. Ok on iron tablets (again) but my fatigue is just getting worse. Thinking of also investing in some good vitamins/supplements. Any recommendations?

Small food and fuel shop so can update spends. Will do some money shuffling over next few days have plenty left over this month to allocate to various pots.

A good high strength vitamin D will help boost your immune system. But aside from that you shouldn't need a ything as you eat well. I think sometimes you have to just listen to your body. I'm in bed and asleep by 9pm nearly every night and wake up naturally around 5/5.30am. If I try and stay up later I feel awful for days and often need to nap.

You do a lot of exercise each day so cut yourself some slack, relax in bed with a book rather than nodding off on the sofa and give yourself permission to relax and switch off from the world/exercise/work.

I went through years of fatigue at a similar age, always being investigated for chronic fatigue or auto immune issues but once I just gave in and rested when my body asked for it (sometimes being in bed at the same time as the kids) then I started to feel a little bit better each month.

I have friends that can seem to do it all and can jet off for weekends away, can be on numerous committees, run social groups and spend hours at the gym/pool and I have no idea how they do it. My body just doesn't work that way. But my body does just fine when I listen to it.

Thanks Pooky, great advice. I am listening to my body, eating what I like, not feeling guilty for sitting or napping. I'm just frustrated at how little energy I have. Have been back to the doctors and had more blood tests so maybe something will show up.

Payday tomorrow and had £120 left in account so transferred that into a savings account. Food account looking healthy but won't do any shuffling there until Sunday. Anything leftover will be split between holiday and the mortgage.

Started this week thinking the weekend would never arrive. Looking back the week has absolutely flown! Have some nice plans this weekend and we are forecast sunshine which will make it even better. Hopefully we can all top up our vitamin d before the storms hit early next week.
