Good morning. Busy day planned here. Had hoped to be in the gym for around 8am but woke up at 8:15! Just having my first coffee, will have another with a pre-workout snack of crumpet and lemon curd and get on my way. Plan to pop to h0me b@rgains on way back to splash out on the lovely h@waiaan tropic subcream, google tells me it's a bargain there. We need to pack later as off on holiday next week.
Spends seem to be well controlled this month and we are going to eat out of the freezer the next few days. Just need to pick up some sausages to go with a bag of potatoes that need using and we're pretty much sorted.
Took advantage of a deal for a local aquarium today we have never been to as it's an expensive and friends tell me it doesn't last long. However, managed to get children's entry for £1 each so we will go there at the end of half term.
I also possibly need to step away from 3bay as buying several bargains at the moment but it's becoming a bit of a habit. Two parcels have arrived already this morning!!

Today has been very productive. Had a brilliant gym sessions this morning and increased all my weights as well as introducing myself to chin ups and dips. Loved it but my back is still feeling it!
House almost cleaned top to bottom, I just need to do bathroom and shower room tomorrow so it's all looking and smelling very fresh.
Popped to @ldi and got a couple of garden items using my birthday money. Should probably be classed as household spends but I think I'll appreciate them more than anyone else so classing them as gifts.
28p Tilly tidy and accounts looking good. Will get on laptop tomorrow to do necessary spreadsheet updates and work out what needs paying/transferring early next week.
Plan for tomorrow is gym, quick food shop and meal plan for early part of the week. I would like to sit and enjoy the garden but can't see it being sunny enough for that. I will settle for being able to line dry my washing!

Good morning!
Trying to be productive before work. Dishwasher emptied, one load of laundry washed and now blowing on the line, 70p Tilly tidy and other accounts checked. Shower room floor mopped and mopped floor in family area. Will do kitchen once children on their way out of the house and mop it behind me!
We seem to have a surplus in the food account safely accounted for! Payday in a few days and both accounts nicely in credit which sets us up strongly for next month. Have mostly just made Tilly tidies throughout May as expected an expensive month but good progress has been made.

If I ever tried to mop the floor behind me, I'm pretty sure that with the final swish, I'd knock the bucket of water over... And that's why I don't mop!!!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Haha Apple, thankfully it was a success.
Bit of a spendy day as the car service was £128. Dh popped to primarni for some bargains and I've got a couple of items to return to Mr S tomorrow. Also had a manicure done after work so have pretty holiday nails.
Had some sugar cravings and fatigue today. Gave into the sugar (not terribly but had a couple of bowls of all-bran fruit and yoghurt I didn't need) have definitely overeaten but pushed myself and have done over my 10k steps. Self sabotage is my nemesis and I'm hoping not to undo all my efforts this week.

Good evening. Well we are all back from a fabulous week on the subshine. Bit of a shock coming back to rain after basking in 35 degree heat yesterday. We had a fab time, did a day trip (long and tiring but worth it) water sports and soaked up all the memory making. Spent more than planned but I wasn't scrimping whilst on holiday and we work hard for it.
That said, came home to see a £4.60 bank account credit from cashback so have overpaid that and done the money shuffle. Dh gets paid tomorrow so once I've sent the rest of the payments I'll work out what we need to last until our next paydays. Hopefully getting paid whilst away will help with the next countdown.
Haven't quite managed to stay under £150 food budget for the month but I'm still pretty happy.

Cath you need to teach me how you spend so little on supermarket spends/food. My bills have gone through the roof. At some point I've really taken my eye of the ball, I'm actually quite ashamed of the amount we've been spending.:(Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%

Thanks mfd, we are all still shattered.
Twinklie we seems to have reduced them a lot over the last couple of months but have just avoided the supermarket really. We don't eat a lot of meat as a family which I think helps keep costs down. I also waste nothing so I'll personally have random meals to avoid waste.
95p spent on mushrooms as I fancied an omelette for dinner. I ended up with porridge as was later back as went to the gym. That wasn't fun after over a week off but I'm glad I went.
Also managed to sit in the sun for 20 minutes after work reading my book with a herbal tea which was relaxing after a busy day. It almost felt like being on holiday!!
