Not much happening here but do remain focused on bigger goals. Rest day from the gym but did do 50 minutes of weights Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Increased my weights on two exercises today so am getting stronger. Am aiming to do a home workout tomorrow.

50p Tilly tidy and accounts looking okay. Did have school related spends of £29 this morning for snack and a school trip. It's never ending as have another £50 to pay for a trip which I will do after payday.

Plans for the rest of the week are minimal spends, food and fuel situation looking okay, careful meal planning, staying out of supermarkets and keeping on top of housework/washing to free up the weekend a little.

Best thing about a bank holiday is how quick the rest of the week goes!

£3.56 Overpayment today made up of account interest, tcb money landing and a Tilly tidy from the account.

Had a small unplanned food shop of £1.16 which won't break the bank. Should hang on and not need fuel until the weekend.

Weather really is miserable here and it's probably cold enough to put the heating on. As it's only
me that ever gets cold I will make do with extra layers and save the money.

This week really is whizzing by fast and we have another busy weekend to look forward to.

    Fuel £0

Quietly plodding over here. Not much activity but regular tilly tidies. Have just overpaid £2.16 which was made up of a Tilly tidy and left over pennies after car payments went out. Will log them into spreadsheet this weekend to see how close we are to knocking another month off. They should come down quickly from the small mortgage but they need to as the end date is 2041!

Dh is doing a small food shop
So we will see how that impacts the account. It's currently looking pretty healthy for where we are in the month and I don't anticipate us needing to shuffle money anytime soon. Maybe I will be able to locate the surplus food spends this month????

Weather looks like it is finally starting to dry up so hoping we can all spend some time outside this weekend. Discovered a lovely place for a walk nearby which needs some exploration but would definitely be more fun with the sun shining.

Just a quick post whilst having a coffee and a sit down. Was in the gym by 8am as needed to take dd out for 9:30. 40 minutes of back and chest workout done and can feel it in my back which is a good sign. Legs planned for tomorrow as have children with me and can access the equipment I need in the family area. The way I currently feel I am not ruling out a nap! Been out at a music event with dd l, she played really well and got commended for her pieces. She has her grade 1 in 2 weeks so this was great preparation for her. She's played at this event for the last 3 years and seems to enjoy performing. Taken ds out for a bike ride, it's actually warmer outside than inside but still pretty chilly in the shade. Fed the plants I planted last week and need to remember to feed them regularly if I want them to thrive!!

    Supermarket £83.79
    Fuel £10

Me too Apple, I was ravenous yesterday. It always happens when I do my weekend workouts but timewise it's easiest for me to do it like that. Will need to juggle my workouts if it's going to lead to intense hunger and 8pm bedtimes though!

Back on track today and hit most of my Nutrition goals.

Small shop at @ldi and got some half price fruit, stir fry mix and cauliflower rice. Made a stir fry with the rice, stir fry mix and veg and meat I brought home from my mums yesterday. Three lunches made for about £1!

60p Tilly tidy made in anticipation of child benefit crediting account tomorrow.

Treated myself to some inspirational quote prints and was going to hang them going up the stairs but have hung them in the utility room instead and they look fab. Hopefully we can all be motivated positively just before we leave the house each day.

Just over a week until payday and we are in a good position financially so just need to keep focused to get us there in a surplus!

    May spends

    Supermarket £97.84
    Fuel £20

Feeling in a strong position for the stage of the month we are at. I wonder if the sunshine is helping with motivation and positivity?

Went to the gym after work and managed a 40 minute weights combination of back and legs. If I go tomorrow I'll work shoulders and chest but if not will repeat today's workout on Thursday. Really worked on my mind-muscle connection and could definitely feel it in my back. Came home and after a porridge, fruit and all bran combination for dinner I ventured into the garden. Tidied up a border from where I'd planted a new plant last week and gave it a good feed. My wild flower seeds are growing In one area but can't see any shoots around the decking. I do life spotting wildflower patches when out and about on residential grass verges or roundabouts. It's so much prettier than overgrown grass. Also read outside for 10 minutes in the late sunshine which was very relaxing. Still have some birthday money to spend and am debating spending it on items that will help me to enjoy the garden more.

Daily clicks on tcb done, just waiting for some to become payable now so can resume Tilly tidies.

£2.60 food spends including some half price raspberries, fizzy pop for dh and crisps for lunch boxes.

Well it's been a busy day here and I somehow had an energy boost this evening so spent it cleaning. I now have a very streamlined clutter free kitchen and it's looking rather lovely. Will tackler utility room tomorrow and the rest at the weekend. Got home from work and cut the lawns front and back so glad they are done as really didn't want to do it! Dh did a top up shop earlier of around £10 and I spent £15 on fuel.

I didn't make it to the gym, looks like I'll have to go tomorrow although have smashed steps and nutrition and it's just a 4th weekly weights workout I'm pushing myself towards.

No active mfw financial progress but accounts looking good and payday about a week away.

I'm still not sure where the energy came from Apple! Dh did the utility room today before I finished work.

I went to the gym which I don't usually do on a Thursday and ended up smashing 45 minutes of heavy weights and even used the leg press for the first time. Rest day tomorrow then will be back there over the weekend.

Couple of small food shops today and fuel for dh. Also found £1.40 in tcb so will send overpayment and transfer when it arrives, also made a 64p Tilly tidy earlier. The dribs and drabs today are adding up.

I do need to plan ahead for next month and perhaps make some early transfers as won't be able to do it at the usual times this month.

Plan for tomorrow and the weekend is to eat from the freezer/cupboards and limit spends. We shall see how successful that plan turns out!

    Fuel £45.04
