I have a similar issue. I had to go around the rotary and the trampoline. :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%

Thanks debtfree, almost recovered and made it to the gym.
At least it's done Apple and twinkle, I have a suspect patch around the bottom of the rotary line too!
Cheap eats again today and no spends other than the top up shop.
Have been spending too much time looking at holidays for next year. There's just so much to consider trying to find the perfect one without spending a small fortune. We'd only been going once next year so hoping for at least 10 days of amazing memory making. I'm quite an impulsive person so having to be quite restrained!!

Looking around is good though - at least you are doing your homework and being restrained not purchasing the first one you see! Where you looking?DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I may have been a little impulsive but have almost sorted something out. Open to areas really, just guaranteed sunshine would be nice!
Have felt a little distracted and pre-occupied this weekend. Feel we haven't really achieved anything due to the weather. I have smashed two gym workouts though and the children enjoyed coming with me today. They had a gymnastics trial last week so had lots of fun on the bars at the gym.
Have done a couple of food shops so spends up a bit. I am a little fed up of saying no to treats and extras in an effort to keep spends super low though so some extras crept in to the trolley. To balance things, dh has made a veg soup I will use for lunches. We are also trying to get the children to try new foods as they're a little resistant so wanting to spend a little bit on those items.
Managed to sit in the sun and actually feel some warmth on my skin earlier for about 20 minutes before the heavens opened. I've never known a June like it and do hope some good weather is forecast for us at some point.
Going to read for a bit before having an early night (needed a 90 minute nap yesterday afternoon and still went to bed at 9:30pm).

A productive day
Had refunded sorted out on an impulsive holiday booking I later cancelled! Wasn't easy but was a success!
£5.93 Tilly tidy from money leftover after car payments went out. Had a good day fitness and nutrition wise so a win there too.
CB due tomorrow and we should manage another day without any food spends. Am hopefully to enter June payday in a strong position and our daily efforts really seem to be helping.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
When will this rain end! It's relentless and we have localised flooding with more heavy rain on the way. I've never known a June like it.
60p Tilly tidy as cb landed. Have a £10 school payment for swimming lesson transport due but payment part being glitchy on my phone so will sort in the morning off a different device. Cheap eats continue but did need bread, milk, apples and bananas. £7.25 spent which I'll add to totals when on laptop. Don't anticipate a good shop tomorrow and we are managing to keep spends fairly low.
Fitness/nutrition goals hit. I even managed 7 full pushups when I've never even been able to do just one! I'm going to add these into my workout especially if at home as it's works so many muscle groups. Didn't make it to the gym (weather too soggy!) but feel better for doing some body weight exercises and will try and get there before the weekend.
Other than that, the headache of sorting out summer holidays childcare begins. Current projected childcare costs are £525 so need to do what we can to get this down. It's amazing that I used to pay in excess of that every month for one child but to pay that for 6 weeks childcare for both children actually fills me with dread and must be avoided!!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Can you do trade off with other Mums of having their kids and they have yours? Slight pain, but keeps the kids occupied and would help with costs?
Glad you got the refund sorted! xDFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

That's a good idea dfod, we have done that in the past. We only need childcare until 1pm so usually a bit easier to sort out.
Am feeling completely drained this week so going to head off to bed very soon. I've had a cold for 2 weeks and it doesn't seem to want to disappear. Keeping up with tcb daily clicks and keeping spends low. Nutrition goals hit today and whilst I'd love to be able to commit to going to the gym after work tomorrow I am doubtful it will happen :rotfl:
Over and out, I'm actually too tired to think!
