Right I’m really going to try harder with the food spends I think. We do eat quite a lot of meat. We don’t have a butchers, or greengrocer anymore so supermarkets are kind of it for us. :(

I have a weird need to buy my own food, so internet shopping doesn’t really work for me.

Thanks everyone. I don't expect June spends to come in under £250 as we have run out of so many things, however we will try!

Small spends of £1 on cereal bars and £20.05 fuel for dh. He must get distracted as always goes over!

All holiday washing done with just one basket left to put away. £15 spends at the cinema for a treat for the children as dd had her piano grade one exam today and played really well. She is very proud of herself and I am of her.

Watered and fed the plants after work as it's a lot more colourful than before we went away. Lawn needs cutting tomorrow and I'd like a chance to finish my book whilst topping up my tan.

An early start may be needed as need to go to the gym and do a good shop!

Pleased with our total spends, the challenge will be to find that theoretical £275 that should be left in the account!

    May spends

    Supermarket £153.77
    Fuel £75.09

    Total £228.86
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

Ours didn't get done debtfree as it rained. We are definitely north of the sunshine this weekend and it has just started raining again. I wasn't going to go to the gym today as felt really unwell yesterday :((appear to have brought a cold home from holiday) but I have been up for hours and have perked up a little. I've just had some crumpets and lemon curd, made an other coffee and then I'll get ready to go.

Small food shop yesterday so have made an early start on June spends whereas I prefer to delay it for a few days :rotfl:

No great plans today, planning a lazy day as we are all still exhausted. Took children out to an aquarium yesterday (had reduced tickets so cost £41 instead of £64) which was great but still an expensive day out. Already spent £50 this morning on a deposit for another residential trip for dd and will drip feed money across to it as still about £200 to pay by September

A busy day here. DH has a bug so been out of action. I came home from work and got 2 lodas of washing in, re-made the bed and cut both the lawns as rain forecast. Also tidied up some plant pots and moved some firewood we have been given for our outdoor fire basket (just need some BBQ weather to enjoy it). Managed to get it all done before a few spots of rain landed.

Leftovers for the children for dinner, dh has eaten nothing and I used up some random bits of food for mine.

Hoping to wake up to a completely well household tomorrow!

Quietly plodding through the week. Didn't make it to the gym yesterday as I've been full of cold. Will try again this evening!

Keeping up with tcb daily clicks where I can and Tilly tidies. 92p yesterday and 66p this morning. All accounts looking ok. Dh has lost a few days pay but as it's a 5 week month it should all balance out so not going to worry about it. Food shop also being done later, I've made a list so hoping dh doesn't add too many extras!

I did do our lawn, though what with manhandling the mower round the base of the airer and the climbing frame, it looks like a 3 year old did it...
