Had a lovely day yesterday. Football tournament for dd and the teams have progressed so much which is wonderful for them to see. It was very well organised and the sun shone throughout. Then went across to a fundraiser which had a wonderful atmosphere despite marking a very sad event. I spent £5 on snacks and bouncy castle entry for ds. DH spent much more but he has his money and I try not to think about how it is spent!

I keep spending money on 'nice' things. Booked a spa break for two friends and me. Our catch ups usually involve us all getting together as couples but we're good friends and deserve a pamper. £44.50 spent and will pay the rest on the day. It's a good spa day though including an hour massage and full use of facilities from 9-6:30. Also spotted a guided walk I have wanted to do for years so am going to book that for a friend and me. It includes transport and I imagine it would have cost a bit in travel and parking and I have no idea where to park anyway!

Hally has decided to function so have done necessary money shuffle, paid another £200 off the credit card. Have also made a list of dates we are stuck for childcare. I am not too proud to ask friends to have mine for a morning playdate! :D

Had an eventful morning as dh had to wake me on his way for his overtime shift at 6am to let me know his car tyre had blown, where he had left the car and how we will get it sorted today. He thankfully knows someone who does mobile tyre fitting without an astronomical call out fee.

Mortgage freedom activity? Paid £14 off mortgage as b*gas have reduced our direct debit and I did a 50p survey on y0ugov. :j

We are now counting down until dh gets paid on Friday!

    £93.75 on a new tyre!

Dh has bought me a bunch of flowers, my least favourite!

Going to have to practise some gratitude today!

    Ended up feeling rather unwell
Yesterday. Faint and hungry. I ate far too much, had a nap, bath and early night.

Checked account this morning, have paid one of the 0% cc bills and made a filly tidy of 45p

My wages don!!!8217;t seem to have lasted very long but dh gets paid Friday and it is a 5 week month which makes a big difference. The problem is I keep finding nice things to spend money on! Our impending summer childcare bill has made things a bit tighter this month but I have a plan in place to try to help.

Right, need to get some steps done before work so I don!!!8217;t have them all to do when it is hot later.

    Gratitude coming naturally today mfd.

Spending money far too easily at the moment. Have a few occasions coming up I would like dresser for so decided to browse 3bay. Big mistake, there are so many dresses for sale on there!

Took £20 cash out of the bank earlier and by the time I had contributed to some collections and given a colleague some money for a deposit she paid, it was all gone!

45p Tilly tidy, entered the big chain stores competition to win back the cost of your tv.....didnt win.

Hit calories, macros and 15k steps. Also did some arm, shoulders and chest weights.

Also planted another jasmine plant when I got home as the half dead reduced plant I got did not survive despite my novice efforts. The jasmine however seems to be doing well so far. Watered the garden, everywhere is so dry at the moment. Hope we are not at hosepipe ban level!

Quick post before I go to bed.

Not much happening. Made another 3bay purchase which was just a piano book for ds as he start his lessons next week. This also means that the cost of piano lessons has doubled! I can't justify gym membership for me but spend a small fortune on the childrens' activities. I know I won't be the only one amongst us.

Had a really interesting day of training today which has given me a headstart on a future project. Also managed to do some networking which is always a good thing.

12p tilly tidy, sadly didn't knock a month off but I'm sure it shaved an extra penny off next months end balance. I may have imagined this if it is not mathematically possible! Completed a y0ugov survey for 150 points (I like these ones!) Checked tcb (things really are slow as I am checking this daily).

Still need to finalise a list of dates am stuck for holiday childcare, think I have saved us a day by changing the weekend we have friends to stay.

Calories and macros hit, 13k steps done and can see definition coming in my stomach (the weights are working!)

Right, off to bed. Am meant to be having an early night.

Very little happening here. More progress work/professionally though.

Cleared the remaining funds out of current account. £10 spends on the children and I sent the other £1 as a Tilly today. Dh not been able to access payslip yet so hopefully tomoro so i can see if there is a bit more in the budget.

Had a couple of quotes for decorating the lounge. It!!!8217;s not that big but quotes are £300 for the labour. I can!!!8217;t justify that as we always have a room that needs decorating. Hoping to do it myself the first week of the summer holidays.

Tomoro will involve spends as am on training and doubt refreshments are provided. Will keep it as low as possible though and limit my coffees.

Managed a NSD and a NPd (no petrol day). Was thinking how a lot of us used to track NPDs on the all the small things thread. Drank 3 litres of water over the course of the day, did not need to buy a coffee as it was provided at lunch. I resisted the buffet as am tracking my calories and had prepared myself some lunch. I did manage to make some lemon drizzle cake fit my macros though.

Dh has checked his payslip and as it is looking good I have just sent a £300 mortgage overpayment. Will update spreadsheet tomorrow and will then get to update it again when mortgage payment goes out on the 1st.

Managed 12,000 steps plus a weights workout which is pleasing after a ful day sat down at training. I have been shattered since, leg day is definitely to blame. Who knew building muscle was so tiring!

One of my 3bay purchases arrived, got a bnwt joules dress which hopefully I will be able to wear for an event next month. Thankfully was able to recall a suitable dress I have in my wardrobe for an event I have this weekend. We have a very expensive few weeks coming up! Really need to limit spends between those events and keep food and fuel costs down as much as possible.
