Ah you're welcome bookworm.
Productive day yesterday. Mortgage company rang to go through offer and were able to lend us slightly more as mortgage payment had gone throughalso they had offered a 5 year fix of 2.69% (no fees) which had reduced to 2.59% when she rang yesterday. Our term is back over 25 years but we can easily overpay £150 a month and goal would be £300 a month which she said would reduce term to 14yrs 9months and save £32k in interest. That fits in with our current term so definitely a goal. We will commit to £150 a month but pay at least £300 as many months out of the year as we can. Dh agreeable!
Also got a few jobs done:
Submitted Meter readings
Checked Hally rewards had credited
Paid some of childcare and worked out still need £155.50
Realised i'd lost list for summer childcare so wrote out a 3rd list!
Picked a courgette from the garden
I also managed to read a chapter of a new book I wasn't sure about and can't wait to read more!
Today's plan
Swimming lessons which dh will do. Also need to pay for winter term lessons. Then Ds has a party and dh is taking dd to a family meal. Hmmm, it's a bit spendy today!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

This is where I confess that as much as I love the motivation from a spreadsheet I am clueless and only have one! (Which a fellow mse'er made for me!)
Am hoping if I save another copy of my original I can just alter the start figure and rate!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
