Having a very productive Sunday so far!

Early start courtesy of ds but that does mean washing sorted and utility floor mopped!

Had a catch up on diaries and DFOD prompted me to check tcb. We opened c0-0p accounts ages ago and I had to submit a claim which they then told me was declined but cash back amount stayed on account. Some time this week it has tracked to payable to that's £105 on its way to me! :j

Got an hour before we need to get ready for swimming lessons so might attempt to continue being productive.

Can you do swaps with other parents, have their kids for a day and they have yours - maybe saving you a day?

Haha DFOD! My DM keeps telling me about online purchases she has made and all I can think about is the cash back she is missing out on!

Bank accounts checked and 24p Tilly tidy made, 4 days until payday! Am planning on 4 nsd's. I'm really pleased with what we have achieved this month.
    1) t3sco balance reduced
    2) food/petrol spends reduced resulting in extra cc repayments
3). £372 saved this month for architect.

Our builder has also been in touch and should be able to provide a quite this week. Re: planning - we are just waiting for a decision. Will check website again later to see if there are updates from earlier applications. Hopfully it's time the plan came together.

Right, best get moving - full working week ahead.

Not much happening as we have final countdown to payday. Have just do me a quick money shuffle to ensure accounts look healthy ready for mortgage application (whenever that will be!) Can't do anything without firm quotes! However, this does ensure we stay in the black.

Looking back at the weekend, it was fairly productive! All washing line dried which is so much quicker than it being on radiators for days. Also spent a little time in the garden clearing rubbish, pulling up weeds and topped up raised bed ready for planting. Am unsure what to try and grow this year as have only really had success with salad leaves and courgettes. I do want to get some potted herbs for outside planter, have had success growing basil and parsley from seed but might cheat with the rest! I also want sweet peas planted and am desperate to find somewhere for a wild meadow!

56p Tilly tidy yesterday, its all going in the right direction. :)

Tcb money has landed in the account. Just a £100 cheque to write for childcare and I am ready for the next payday on Friday. I'm really happy we have managed not to use the cc at all this month, feels good to see that balance go down. Will make another payment once wages hit account on Friday.

I've completerly lost track of how much we will need for next architect bill as everything is costed pre-vat and the last bill was much higher than originally thought! Bit annoyed as a builder approached us after seeing application on line and despite having a copy of our plans has not given us a quote. He has also ignored a voicemail from dh  Why go looking for work if you will then disappear?

I can't believe it's only Wednesday, I've definitely done a full weeks work already. The first part of the week I am a taxi service for dd activities but football tonight will be over before I get home. Dd also gas a few different lotions and positions for eczema at the moment too which is a full time job in itself applying them!

    Urgh, feeling stressed.

21p Tilly tidy made and we will enter the final day before payday with money in the bank!

Had a brilliant parents evening for both children this week which was lovely to hear.

Apart from feeling exhausted and looking dreadful, the week isnt turning out too bad.

Hi Cath - read your whole thread a few weeks back but yet to say hi!

I am envious of how much you manage to achieve. My DD has just turned one and am just about coping with night feeds, early mornings and working part-time. Hope my body adjusts soon and I can learn to cram much more into my weekends as you guys seem to manage to do. However, things do sound particularly exhausting for you at the moment so make sure to make some time to rest and look after yourself!

Congrats on all the money goals achieved and yey for payday soon. My first payday after maternity leave felt fabulous (even though most of it just went back into our depleted savings lol)
