Hi Nicky, that is for popping in and reading my waffle. I am finding it is getting slightly easier as they get older, your dd is still little and night feeds were exhausting. Our night feeds stopped at around 18 months but we still don't have uninterrupted sleep!
No news as yet lulabelle regarding planning, looks like plans submitted 10 days ish before us are next to have decision made so I will be checking frequently! Hopefully can speak to builder next week about our quote too. I just think it will be much easier once we have the next set of plans.
Payday yesterday and shuffles and transfers done and bills paid. Not sure we actually spent any money but that's not the point of payday!
Can transfer more funds over to architect fund next week when we have another payday. Sent tcb to a cc which should help us get under £10k on that 0% debt. This was at £23k at its highest!!
Relaxing weekend planned. Hoping the sun comes out at some point to motivate me to cut the lawns and go for a run. We are doing sport relief tomorrow though so may go after our family run.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Fingers crossed for planning permission.0

Thanks SHS, we are currently patiently waiting in limbo.
Bit of a spendy day, went to a local garden centre with my mum and bought her a belated gift and some potted herbs for my planter. Was too cold to get into the mood for gardening but she treated me to a coffee
Current monthly spends
Food. - £148.82
Petrol - £167.08
We do need a shop tomorrow so am thinking of a £20 @ldi budget. End of the month not too far away so could set ourselves a ridiculous challenge.
Also had to buy D's some trainers from cl@rkes for £19.99 as his feet are too wide for us to elsewhere. I wasted money previously on trainers that hurt his feet!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

I have one of those - DS1 was a G/H and a nightmare to buy shoes for - still is - and rugby boots were almost impossible! My other 2 boys are D (E at a push) with narrow heels, meaning they always had to wear boots as small children so that they stayed on! And DD has weird feet too (narrow, with really long toes and a really high arch meaning that most slip on 'dolly shoes' just don't work - she must be the only 6th former with Velcro straps on her school shoesI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Food shop ended up being just under £30. Our fridge is bursting!
We have had a really lovely weekend, Dh and D's enjoyed a day out together yesterday and I had time with dd. Also found time to venture to garden centre so have some herbs in my pallet planter.
Today has been fab. We all ran our sp0rt relief run today and the children really enjoyed it and were thrilled with their medals! I then also ran home and didn't particularly enjoy it.I fear I have lost my running mojo! We have spent lots of time in the garden and Ds has been helping me. I mowed and he brushed up, what a team!
I definitely feel ready for a 4 day week after such a lovely weekendJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Ooooh. Just checked council website and the week we submitted looks like next to have decision made! Application submitted 3 days before us has been granted.

Thank you! Am wondering if checking the site 3 times a day will speed up the decision!
Isn't it funny how when you have waited weeks for something, those final days become unbearable!
