    Morning,

Am planning a productive day here today. Time will tell how successful it has been.

Have quite a bit of work related stuff to do as well as try and sort out the finances!

House also needs a major clean.

Think I might just start with making a list ;)

    Morning Cath,

I have been reading your diary over the last couple of weeks. Loved it! I was really sad yesterday when I finished it all!

Your life has lots of similarities to mine. The children are the same age and your dd sounds very like mine. I also have a constant move stay move stay theme going on.

Good luck with the extension plans.

Hi Muser, that's kind thank you. Did you have a diary? I lost count of how many times I wanted to move house! My fb timehop reminds me of how often I went round in circles, we are on the right path now though - I hope!

Not a bad old day, got all the work stuff done that I needed to. Spent some really lovely quality time with the children and realised that ds (school nursery age) knows nearly all of his letter sounds. :) We also enjoyed a game of frustration and there are no surprises that dd won!!

Also went to a local sports centre to buy passes which enable the children to swim for free at times and we get 20% off. I thought it would cost £4 but it cost £24! It does mean we can all swim for £7 though. Also dropped off a charity bag the shop on the way.

Back to it tomorrow and work may be stressful! Roll on the weekend.

There's a diary of mine lost and forgotten somewhere;) I'm good at reading other people's but not keeping my own.

Thanks Muser, this one is getting rather long. I did debate a new one if we ever moved!

The WIOTW idea was pinched from Michelle who was on here a few years ago. It helps to keep track of the overall picture if making huge OP's isn't the current priority.

Did some quick calculations yesterday regarding projected build costs. I have budgeted for a range of figures and the top end is affordable (obviously hope I have really overestimated!)

Our previous overpayments have put us in a really strong position. Our original mortgage end date is 2030, (I would be 48) and when we changed our deal the date changed to 2035 but we kept payments to original date. Basically, if term kept as 2035 we will only be paying £40-£110 on top of what we currently pay. This means we can definitely afford to continue overpayments.
If we had moved and borrowed in excess of £50k I am sure we would have extended the term to the max!

Just need the builder to provide a quote now! I am going to approach other builders once we have the next stage plans.

Payday tomorrow and to celebrate the accounts being in the black I have made a £1 tilly tidy!

I think if your dd is playing then she is practising.

    Alex LK might disagree!

She is quite the entertainer SHS. This teacher has definitely captured her interest. Not as much theory being learned along the way as before but she loves playing and is actually pretty good :)

Payday for dh so have paid all bills that can be paid. Will pay rest from my wages next week. Money shuffle done and overtime paid off t3sco cc - how did that balance shoot up again

    82p tt also made :)

Work was stressful as anticipated and I thought of wine on the way home. We are going to enjoy couple of glasses this evening instead hopefully with a good film.

No news off builder yet, hoping a quote will appear soon.

Is it awful that I have just checked how long it is until March payday? :rotfl: I want to see those balances tumble!!
